Not surprised on a short week. Real short. As short as it gets in the cfl.

Well, let see if that is valid reason from some folks around here.

Cue the: Player X should be in Player Y should be out. Player Z doesnt make sense.

I don't know if the Argos or Stamps will sell 30,000 tickets all year....

Argos might get a sell out on July 26 when the Bombers come to town. When I was looking for seats last week, there were not as many available as I expected.

not shocked...it's Osh's way of business...Just because we won he feels it's all good...when it's not and won't change anything even tho not ideal...and some spots are just an utter waste....and late in year when it counts again.....we will follow the same script...and flop

He just doesn't grasp the idea of always trying to get better....and loyalty and Mr.Nice guy/buddy doesn't equate to Cups

If any thing, it makes sense to keep any one banged up out after a short turn around week. Especially a guy like Demski.
Similarly if you have any one like Adam’s last year who isn’t up to par on playing a longer than college length schedule in the year it’s a good time to move guys around. Every one a starter after all right?

If  Demski is a GTD, why not add a Mitchell for one of the defensive DIs? Of course, MOS will play him hobbled no question.

Why not find a way to get another DE on?

Because that makes too much sense, what are you ******* high man?!?!

Im not sure that Cooley was added last week over depth fears but more that they wanted to take a look at him. It might always have been part of the plan to start the American guard in week one because they weren’t confident at that point if Nuefeld was going to be able to play the whole game. After he did they were more comfortable going with Nuefeld and Wallace as the guards the following week and got Cooley on the roster. I hope he has a larger role this week. Other than the fumble and recovery he looked pretty good and out performed Peterson.

I know I know. I'm as perplexed at our roster as anyone else. But as of today. they're 2-0. Last 3 GCs no longer matter.

That’s anorexically thin at receiver if Demski can’t go.

Zach only looks for 2 or 3 guys anyways. The 5th receiver really is irrelevant. They could start 4 receivers and 2 backs really. Cuz Zach ain’t using the 5th option most times. He’s going option 1 or 2. That’s Wheatfall and Schoen right now. Zachs a throw a 50 yard pass into double coverage instead of a 7 yard pass to an open guy right now QB. Dude doesn’t take the short stuff.

so he claims...but when rubber meets the road and guys are hurt/underperforming all those other "they all starter guys..thats why6 they here" still sit.....as they play the weak and wounded....bullshit artist extroidinaire...early season games...especially a home one against a weaker sister...short week...guys a bit banged up is the perfect time to get guys like Mitchell....Person...Bailey..Cobb in for reps/valuable playtime experience and if anything else...see what they can do and if they make us better...but alas no...ride guys to a worn out nub...and not groom/develop depth...I can see 2025 going the same way 2022-2024 went...with a possibility this yr it all comes to roost and we dont even make the big dance in our own back yard...worn out guys...injured guys still playing...zero depth or lack of faith in the "they all starter guys"....until Osh proves otherwise to us there no reason not to think this exact same scenario now running 4 yrs in a row plays out again

dont learn from history you tend to repeat it 4 yrs running...Maybe thats why Osh and Walters aren't re-upped yet/again..Maybe Miller wants to see results...and I can see him doing that too...

and end if one or both our old ends get knicked....DT too if Lawson or Adams goes down

which also is a piss poor thing going on...step in coach(s) and get in his ear...or grill...It's not like other teams don't see that and take things away and we sputter or throw picks...for all this great coaching people claim we have...and we surely do...they sure suck at putting things together at times

MCI scored a beautiful TD last game that was called back on a penalty.
I can totally see his role expanded.

as it should be....we tend to stunt guys at times....and I dont mean running Thomas in a stunt hahaha....that was soooooembarrasing

Hopefully jarious had a good chat with Zach about what he can and can not do anymore. We shall see.

i second that....and puts guys in spots, and or utilzes their best assets to make life easier for ZC....Not the Buck way that we saw the last 2 seasons

Are they playing in the GC this week? Or are they playing their 3rd game of the year. If we're going to compare the past and learn from history....the correct thing would be to compare where they are now compared to where they were relative to the same time last year. Last year they started 0-4 after a lazy TC. Would you say they admitted a mistake and learned from it? We can go on and on about the last 3 grey cups. But they aren't preparing for the GC this week.

No worries we have Eli who can come in and make some plays :D

Lots of options. Eli as you said. Last season there was a game where they had to trot Streveler out there as a receiver. They've had packages in the past that gets Willie out there as a TE. The possibilities are limitless!
