BC SUCKS at Bombers GDT

If true about BO, it’ll be interesting to see what we do in response. We could run with Peterson and Chris-Ike. If we add Cooley we could take Sterns out of the lineup for Cobb, remove Vanterpool for another Canadian ol, possibly even start Gauthier over Tony Jones. 

my choice would be Cooley & Cobb in for Sterns & BO.

Start Paterson. Cooley backup.

I’m sure Parker will get more time to get back up to pace. But I haven’t been impressed. 
 To really go Canadian at S, we’d need a back up Canadian too. We don’t have one able to play in the secondary with both makonzo and Kelly hurt. 
 

That said, we could flip wil taking kyrie off much easier. 
 

Sadly, if we need to flip ratio, I bet we start two Canadian dts and di adams. Which would be criminal.

and your beating the same drum too and cant accept even tho we won it wasnt because we had no legitimate backup import dline guys...no legitimate back up receiver or return guy... and If 1 or god forbid 2 imports would have went down on the dline...or a receiver...and say one got knicked...we were left with our nuts hanging out to dry...and yeah it would have been a huge issue and likely reason for a loss....but you cant understand...stomach...believe...call it whatever you like but yeah we won ...cant argue...but you can also say we won in spite of a roster that wasnt our best....strongest ...sorry that you think Osh does no wrong and does everything right....but he doesnt....Wins gloss over the bad stuff...Good teams are better at glossing....but eventually it bites u in the ass..22'...23'...24 grey cups are proof positive of it

If BO is out, take off Ayers and roster Cooley or Logan. I like Ayers but they're using him on teams and I know he's a beast but they have other guys who can do those reps.

I'd roll with Peterson now until teams show they can consistently stop him.

Smart move is to swap Sterns for Cooley as Sterns did nothing...hasnt done nothing since camp really and Cooley could run that jet sweep and find open spaces for ZC to use as a check down if need be...I'd bring on Cobb as well for BO's spot...Bailey for Korn only....

Osh will obviously be enamored by Bridges picks so he's safe as Thomas now....Ideally I'd move Parker to corner and put Allen at safety to see the results....gotta find the right mix back there...Parker is versatile as a DB so removing him totally prob isnt the smartest move....he did good...couple goofs...but so did several guys....but then again thats how you learn and get integrated too

What I'm hearing from some is MBB discussions on roster management, players abilities, game reviews and coaches/management decisions should be muted until our W/L record says to unmute.

They always have an excuse just like the first two months of last year. 
 Honestly most people are in the same boat these days. It’s a couple that are still in the this is fine room with roster management. 
 
Luckily, the coaching changes and last batch of vet discards has brought a lot of improvement. We are younger and more athletic than we’ve been in years. The depth is pretty impressive too. 
 

I’m sure the roster will improve with a couple more games, and hopefully see another old head go this year still.

I wouldn’t remove Vanterpool for any reason but Cooley and Cobb for Sterns and BO sounds ok.

Strev will get his running back....He really didnt take off and on the draw play if KOLO made his block and maintained it he had at least 10 yards minimum there. Speaking from experience take a while to get back to where you were  that first yr back..part mental...part is it just takes time once fully healed

So glad Buck is gone....we needed new blood and ideas and ability to adapt and utilize skill sets...Jackson and Hogan are gonna be a huge difference maker for us

All in all...first real game with all the starters....and an exy=tended camp basically with that bye week...that was a pretty damn good showing and very encouraging with the new faces...long lay off from real bullets...I think the other teams took notice and said "ohshit"

I expect some tweaks yet...some shuffling of guys to fine tune but like what I saw....saw more intensity and hunger in this group than we saw last yr

Rourke couldn't sustain any drive....or momo.....we had him scrambled and guessing and our back end is so aggressive receivers had no time to do much of anything against them

Save for a couple big shots....more luck than execution B.C offense did diddly sqwuat .....

 

It was nice to hear that Osh admitted that training camp in 2024 was too easy & he didn't work his team hard enough compared to this year. Just like myself, you, wbbfan & more than a few other discussed last season on more than a few ocassions. Glad Osh can be introspective & admit he made a mistake.

He danced around a lil on what actually changed, but im just glad he did what it took finally. 
 We just have to keep it going in the weekly prep too.

Maybe Wade Miller called him on the carpet when they were 2-6 saying their pre season prep just wasn't good enough? Who knows??

BC really did us a solid.  What Buck did to Strevy last year was a freaking crime.  I really hope even with Zach back that Strev gets 2 or 3 series per game to mix things up, like we used to do, that kept defences totally off balance.

Very real possibility. I could see some rebalancing of power in the mafia having happened since last years start. And if that’s given us what we have now, great keep it goin.

100%. After they took ringmaiden I think we are even. 
 I love Ted too, and hope he whips cancer and has lots of success in Hamilton. I think the front office change was needed too.

That's all that would have ever been said. The Trinity are in lockstep, for starters (I'm fairly certain) and if ANYONE calls MOS on the carpet (a laughable notion!) it's gonna be Walters. 

I think a lot of you are overthinking things (I know I know... It's what we do) especially in regards to the roster next week. I don't think you're going to see much in terms of changes. After a performance like last night, we'll see the bare minimum.
