Id personally approach Khari...he got done raw at the end of his last gig

He's not a tool...is connected...a players coach but one who plays the talent...name recognition...

JJ stays as OC but has a lot of input from Jones but allows Jones to focus on the game and whats going on

Players who have played for him love and rave about him as well...Elevate Younger to DC/Ass head coach with more say/sway with whom we go after player wise.

And there are players in the league who still make a difference that would come to wpg cause hes here...

Simple...effective.. seamless

I like Khari, and I think he was ahead of the curve on the offences he wanted to run.

I view him the same way I look at Jackson. I'd want them to have either a sidekick with a ton of upside to groom or someone with tremendous experience who can help groom them. No CO by committee, but more like Hall and JY. ,

If we go from inside, I think it'll be Hall who gets the nod, if not maybe walters comes down and does both jobs.

Or, it might be time for the regularly scheduled return of Lapo LOL

Yeah...Jones and JJ duo would be great in an innovative system and we would likely become a QB developing system....

I forgot about Hall....and really what a HC really needs to do, and take on...with the right co-ords it be easy for him....smarts....seen it all...relates to players...very non-disruptive

if you read between the lines...aprt of what BO is saying about re-signing here is dependant on whats around him .....and he talking other offensive talent be it on the line....reciever and most importantly who is gonna create the offence.....and rightfully so

What player on either side of the ball would wanna re-up here, let alone sign here fresh with the knowing they likely to be playing with...or behind garbage, and garbage coaching....I'll tell you....none...zero...careers are short enough as it is and the window to win even shorter which is the main goal of any player

Guys who will tho...The JT's....Kolo's....the aged out guys with zero future who can still play a bit...but not at elite levels...and prob nowhere else, and offer zero upside...thats who...kinda what we have littered our roster with the last 3 ..4 yrs and the end results spoke for themselves....

If I read O'Shea's personality correctly, he will absolutely balk at not having "his guys" and bail- we can only hope.

I am also a Khari cheerleader.

Love everything Khari did while here but has he ever won anything ever at any point in his playing and coaching career?

I'm not convinced he's a CFL coach... Tho admittedly he'd have been an upgrade over Hogan (from as little as I can tell from the stands)...

18-18....but also one yr was thrust into the Als job what...like a week before season started???...Something like that...and then still got em 10-8...was OC for Hamilton that brought them to EF I believe...QB coach for Rider Grey cup win....I'd discount his Ottawa stuff as that is just a place to go and die....and was ultra bad when he was there...gets a Mulligan for that

I like Brady. And I like the Winnipeg connection. But good teams, NFL and CFL, don't tend to overpay RB's any longer. Supply and demand. Decent RB's are plentiful. There were 5 other 1000 yard rushers in the CFL last year. I think all, or at least 4, made less $ than Brady. Plus there's Scott in Montreal who ran over our D in the semi final who looks like a 1000 yd rusher. Someone will pay him, I just wouldn't if I were a GM. I'd rely on my scouting department (if I had a decent one, not sure Bombers do now) to find me a new crop of American RB's every year to pick from and pay them accordingly.

Sure. easy, peasy. Okie dokie...

Yep.

Imo if you brought in khari he’d be a position coach and support Jackson who’d be the oc. You could have both work with qbs, and khari also coach wrs while being offensive assistant.

Qbs are underrated as wr coaches. They’re much better at helping wrs and qbs build chemistry and understand what the qb is looking for.

Khari was also one of the last qbs to call his own plays, is much better coaching rpos and btl screen packages.

Though I do worry if khari would be the worst guy to put with zach. Two guys who just wanna chuck bombs lol

That's why you need a competent OC... someone like JJ.

Exactly this...as well as our ratio and how we use it and allot the money and the value you get from it, and how it rapes you elsewhere, compared to the lower price tag and actual better more impactful play from an American...I talking SAM.....Interior d-line.....even center.....Second Canadian receiver

Our flat out refusal to to never stray away from 3 oline...RB...2 receiver's and the pile of garbage that is JT Inside has just handcuffed us...allowed us to either miss out or not even consider an impact player in FA in any of those spots and made us weak....shallow in depth and just hanging onto garbage and never getting better.....because this "belief" we have that this is the winning template....cause it worked half a decade ago now

To be the best, and stay the best you need to be continually getting better...bringing guys in....looking forward, not at past success.....and if you find a guy thats better than who is starting currently....you plug them in and your depth guys continually are being better along with your frontline guys....worrying about bruised ego's and loyalty aint gonna keep you succesful

When is the last time....almost anytime under Osh where we have adjusted how we run our ratio....or cut a vet...a 2 yr..3yr starter....for an up and comer? I can't think of once....Only time we replaced anyone of significance is due to a player leaving for better opportunity/money or a guy was so injured even Osh couldn't justify dressing them...and even then he has played guys who in now way shape or form should have been dressed...let alone starting.

And....hence....here we are and from sounds of some the soundbites from Osh....prepare for more BS nad from some personal discussions and chat I have had...expect some exodus cause of it...Sure the team is gonna spin it that "they are moving on from player X...PlaYer Y" and if you believe that get a hold of me cause I got some merchandise that I can sell you at a crazy wicked deal....it's awesome legit stuff 😁

We are a chaotic mess riht now....no real clue or plan and sounds like it's gonna fester into 2026..

If we continue on this path it'll lead to us falling off a cliff. I foresee terrible times ahead.

7th all time in wins, the most wins of any active HC. It's ridiculous to speak as if his entire tenure was a failure.

A few seasons ago, it was all about the culture, and how we were retaining players because of O'Shea. And that players were signing for less because of O'Shea.

If changes were made I'd be good with that, but the posts from people who were heaping praise about the culture a few years ago, are mind-numbing.

Oh, I'm fine with MOS back if he fires Hogan and gets a real OC and he starts saying bye bye to the aging vets. I get frustrated by him but appreciate the 9 straight 10+win seasons, 2 cup wins etc. Honestly a little worried about who we would replace him with. Yeah so basically I just want Miller to kick MOS and KW in the ass, light a fire and then improvements.

I agree with what you're saying but those same qualities that make him a great coach to play for are the very same qualities that can destroy the culture they've built if he's not mindful / refuses to adapt.

yeah...Its a what have you done lately business to...The first few seasons were not good...we wrangled 2 cups...wedged between 4 failures now....and each year the degradation got worse from lack of any effort to stop it, but just relied on the past....so good will has long dried up

All good coaches have an expiry...and really a lot of the credit heaped on Osh west soley just him....I certainly agree he was a huge part....but the culture..and everything about it was a collective effort...and Osh was chosen after meetings with Miller and Walter's to carry out where they wanted to go an he sold himself to them that he was the man and shared same vision....That is lost in all of this....Osh didnt create and bring in some super secret fancy new ideology here....it was basic football business to be successful....from a place where we had become totally inept and lost
