I had forgot that Brazzell was around for years before he came here at the end of his career.  His most memorable play to me is running along with Milt on the 105 yard game winner.

Just saw that his son, Chris Brazzell II, plays for Tennessee. Get him on the neg list!

Haven't been able to post or visit mbb much this year. Just glancing over some of the comments. People hating on Walters??? How quickly the tides turn around here...

Should've signed a serviceable back up though. I thought strev had it. He doesn't. You'd think they'd be able to evaluate that

344 yards in 10 games or 34.4 per game and over 50 4 times. So not productive through August. 

How many of those games was Chris Streveler throwing passes? Pretty tough to blame our receiving corps for a dud QB. Yea, when Collaros came back everyone's numbers rebounded last game. Wheatfall didn't get that bump because he was injured. He has over 600 yards as a first year starter, those are pretty decent numbers. Just out of curiousity how many yards a game is Mitchell averaging this season? Yea...there is the fly in the ointment right there.  23 yds per game. That doesn't scream sit down Wheatfall because we are holding this guy back to me.

I'd be willing to roll with Wheatfall another year. The kid is essentially a rookie starter and he has been putting up decent numbers despite Streveler being our QB half the time.

I don’t hate him. He’s done a fine job overall in his tenure. I just think he and the rest of the front office half assed this past offseason hard.

My point which you have ignored was that after the first three games, his performance has been so so. 34 yards per game and only a few over 50 yards. Its been in games with both Zach and Streveler.

His best game (5 catches for 127 yards and a TD) came in the first week with Streveler. 2 of his best games and half of his TDs have actually come when Streveler was playing.

You have to study the history of how we got here. First there were the O'Shea haters. These ones claim we should have five Grey Cups and MOS is a piece of **** for only getting 2. Walters built such an incredible roster that surely Tim Burke could have won all 5.

Enter the Walters haters. It's not O'Shea's fault!! It's Kyle Walters! He's not doing enough! And so on.

So that's where we are now. It's going to be Defcon 5 here if the Bombers don't make it to the Grey Cup at home, let alone win it. O'Shea is public enemy number one but Walters is right behind him.

And all 12 posters here know I'm speaking the truth.

Also these people are paid handsomly to do their jobs. & We've been to 5 grey cups in a row. These  years have given me clarity ... It's a long season and it changes like the weather. Let's decide after the season is over who's to be praise, or blame.

What I know for sure is that they consistently field a competitive team. My whole existence as a bomber fan prior was pretty much chaos and turmoil. I start at Daily era and work my way forward from there.

A more honest update is that people are frustrated that this club has moved glacially slow in making the necessary changes that other clubs would have addressed immediately instead of waiting half a season and/or until a player gets injured.    

O'Shea saying "nothing wrong all is good" has made people believe that he is arrogant and stubborn and unwilling to admit that they made poor decisions and need to change.  

The lack of free agent signings and giving Zach a big contract for next season has soured the people on Walters.     

The roster management has been terrible and people are split on blaming O'Shea or Walters.   Nobody can understand why Jake Thomas is starting and puzzled on why they have not attempted new players to see if they can create a spark.  

I don't think anyone wants either Walters/O'Shea to be fired... just a kick in the pants and for them to stop sniffing their own farts and stop resting on pass success and do something.   

Everyone has agreed that the new OC Hogan needs to be fired ASAP.

Jake Thomas is by no means our biggest problem. But he’s the most glaring example of roster negligence we can possibly ever imagine having. We start him and it’s not even ratio related. He could be replaced by an American tomorrow and it would not affect the ratio one bit. 

Unless our team is admitting they’re not putting out the best possible roster, the only explanation for this is that we can somehow not find a better DT down south than Jake Thomas.
