His conduct in the Drew Willy/Matt Nichols incident plus his handling of Collaros in the last Grey Cup game is a powerful indicator of how he functions. If he comes up this year, and balls out next year, he's probably gone again in 2027. If he spends the next year and a half bouncing around PRs and Camps looking for a shot and comes up in 2027, he's more likely here for the long haul. nah canadian college qb is not getting the call up after one season here, unless he throws for numbers that would make doug flutie blush. 1 hour ago, rebusrankin said: Nothing wrong with what Milt said. MOS makes a good point about Milt not knowing all the info. I think we all remember that time late in milts career when he was plastered over the middle and out old twitching on the field. then came two and jumped up but was clearly confused and wobbly. He played in a far worse era for player safety. He isn’t the guy to say some thing for clicks or throw out calls for retirement lightly. I understand what mos is trying to say, but I think all the needed info IS available. you have a qb who turns 39 in a couple weeks, who has been knocked out of games 3 times this year due to high hits, who hasn’t been 100% in about 2.5-3 years, and who has more concussion history than the entire rest of the west division. Not an exaggeration either. In grappling they say “every thing below the eyes is the neck”, in football especially for qbs/concussions every thing from the shoulders up is the head. if you get whacked in the neck, it jostles your brain. smashed with a clean hit in the shoulder pads, rattles the cage. So when you see a qb with concussion history’s head hit 3 times and once bounce off the turf, it’s a concussion issue. After concussions, every injury near the head causes issues. no such thing as close but didn’t cause issues at that point. Post concussion syndrome/ppcs is no joke. bigg jay, rebusrankin, Booch and 6 others 8 1

SectionKBlackout Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Listening to Oshea on CJOB I'm done with him. His act worked when the team was winning, but it's tired and played out. He was spouting off about "hey were the same record we were last year at this time, it's not the way we wanted but it's the same". There's nothing close to the same. I can't remember a game last year we scored 0 points in a half not to mention multiple times. The absolute inept offense. The terrible play calling. I gues the only thing that would be similar is the head scratching roster... that continues to get worse. Dr Zaius, BigBlueFanatic, Piggy 1 and 3 others 3 2 1

I gues the only thing that would be similar is the head scratching roster... that continues to get worse. O’Shea has never been one to give the media or fans much of anything. His coaches show is beyond terrible. He says nothing. Only time coaches show tho was interesting was the Mike Kelly year so expecting anything is kind of on you. He does come across as a bit of an ass tho. But it don’t matter if I think he’s an ass, it matters what the players think and sounds like they all would run through a brick wall for the guy so who knows. the talent just isn’t there this year. That’s partially on O’Shea although I don’t think they cut any future stars and it’s mainly tho on Walters and the scouts cuz if the talent ain’t there then it ain’t there. As much as ppl pretend Adams or woods makes a difference, Adams didn’t when he was rostered. Talent is lacking and that’s on more than just O’Shea. He’s not going to say they lack talent tho. the conspiracy theory lover in me likes to believe Walters has sabotaged the season cuz there’s some issues between him and Osh and Kyle knows not hosting a playoff game gets Osh fired. I dunno. Sure seems like sabotage to me. This started in the off season when we let guys walk and brought in crap. Edited 19 hours ago by Goalie

Goalie Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago (edited) I tend to agree with O’Shea when he says there’s lots of speculation about Zach from people who don’t know the whole story so I’ll just leave it be. I’ll just say, I’ve had concussions and the problem with concussions is the next one is easier to get then the first one is so yeah. Hopefully it’s not a concussion. Maybe it’s not. But now you find out for sure if Strev is a starter or not. He doesn’t appear to be one but he’s getting the reps so no excuses now. I hope Strev surprises. In the end the W is all that matters. Gotta love Strev. Out there shirtless spitting during interviews acting all weird like he’s on edibles. Fantastic. Edited 19 hours ago by Goalie

aalgernon Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago O'Shea is going into protective dad mode, likes he seem to do around injuries. Did the same thing around K. Wilson after the Banjo Bowl. I think he has a point that wild speculation on the air in the spur of the moment perhaps isn't the most constructive, but it is basically Stegall's job. Ultimately I think Stegall's comments got blown out of proportion, and latched onto by a number of redditors. We don't actually know the extent of Collaros's injury, or how long he'll be out. I expect he'll be back this season, and I'm sure he is already considering retirement after this year or next.
bigg jay Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I don't think that Osh even listened to what Milt said. Osh ranted about Milt not considering ZC's family when he made his comments but that's exactly what Milt was doing. Milt said if that was his son, he'd never let him see the field again. He wasn't talking about Zach the football player, he was talking about Zach the person. Piggy 1, Tracker, Booch and 1 other 1 3
