wbbfan Posted Wednesday at 06:48 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 06:48 PM Jacked that it's cam mainly at DT. I get rolling with Parker despite limited PS play/success, he's done a lot in the past, even in limited reps. I don't get what we see in bridges. But we always start out with a guy or two like him that gets swapped out after a few weeks. Not that he's awful, he isn't rock cartwright or tyquwan glass. Just maybe this years version. rebusrankin and Bigblue204 1 1

Yeah basically Parker is a vet...he knows whats up from down...and good choice as if an injury occurs at a half...corner...or SAM he easily slides in any of those spots and we drop a guy into safety I guess they going the old familiar with Bridges to start, and if he just not cutting it...they tweek? wbbfan, Noeller, Piggy 1 and 2 others 5

Seems like it. I'm very curious to see how the roster shakes down for week 1. Is Griffin staying at Dime as a DI? If he does, who is going to KR? How are we going to work the imp Lbers? Week 1 bye sucks as a fan lol. rebusrankin, Piggy 1, blue85gold and 1 other 4
Booch Posted Wednesday at 07:13 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 07:13 PM I hope we just go for pedestrian returning first game while Logan is out and save that DI spot for a guy on defence to show what he has to be honest If I was a betting man all of Bonds..Nichols..Holm..Parker..Griffin and Bridges will be on roster...how used is another question....I truly figured somebody would have supplanted bridges spot tho...may still...Best bet it be Allen one would think as he showed the most Dream world would have Ayers..J.Jones and Woodbey as import backers to go with Shay..Smith..Gauthier..Cadwaladder..Novack...as those 4 Canadians would be huge on temas and we know Gauthier can take defensive reps and sure Shay and Smith will get some opportunities...but don think ratio wise we can do that with 3 imports unless we take away from elsewhere...which would be dline and dont like that thought Blue-urns, wbbfan, rebusrankin and 1 other 2 2

An extra week to prep in a new offensive system for a QB that has not had a start since early last year with a couple of new receivers can't hurt. wbbfan, rebusrankin, Bigblue204 and 3 others 6

Seems they value Vet presence at Safety. MOS always talked about how Alexander was a general out there and making sure guys knew their spots. rebusrankin and wbbfan 2

Parker has paid his dues and put in his time, he's been around since 2022 and has never become a full-time starter, after a full year of rehab, this is his big chance to establish himself as a team leader. People may have forgot but at one time he was the backup returner for Grant. Bigblue204, Noeller and wbbfan 3

More prep time for strevy rookies etc. 40 minutes ago, Fatty Liver said: Parker has paid his dues and put in his time, he's been around since 2022 and has never become a full-time starter, after a full year of rehab, this is his big chance to establish himself as a team leader. If he’s similar to what he was before it’s going to be ba esq. Bigblue204 1

If he’s similar to what he was before it’s going to be ba esq. he is the best true tackler on the team among DB's....prob team tho J.Jones is a machine....and if he totally healthy he likely one of the fastest on team too.....we cant go wrong with him on roater in any capacity With Griffin II...Parker...J. Jones and actually D. Adams on the field those are 4 guys who excel at bringing a guy down Blue-urns, wbbfan, Bigblue204 and 2 others 5
Atomic Posted Wednesday at 09:53 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 09:53 PM We haven't seen much of Bridges really... Bridges started one game last season and spent the rest of the year on the PR or as a 6/7 DB. So maybe a year of development will have paid off. As for Parker I think there is still a ton of potential there and safety seems like the right spot for him. Goalie 1

He improved from early on but just kind of got to average. Didn’t show any thing special. Love to be wrong about him just don’t see much.
Booch Posted Wednesday at 10:04 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:04 PM He's capable...adequate? Maybe he takes a big leap but from seeing some others in camp...I think we could do better...and it's not like we havnt put in raw rookies before..heck we have used 2 before Piggy 1 1
Pete Posted Wednesday at 10:06 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:06 PM (edited) Hoping to see Adams as the starting defensive tackle, with his athleticism and size he could be a beast. In the preseason he was outstanding but how it translates to regular games remains to be seen. Right now I could see the following 4 di positions if Vanderpool is at guard then with Castillo and Vaval on special teams, we have only two DI spots left . If Jones starts at WIL then WIlson/Ayers will take one spot and then a choice will have to be made between Griffin and Adams/Woods (whoever doesn't start0. If Vanderpool isn't on the starting roster then three of Griffin. Ayers or Wilson, and Adams or Woods Edited Wednesday at 10:07 PM by Pete Bigblue204 and rebusrankin 2

Booch Posted Wednesday at 10:12 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:12 PM Doesn't mean they best...also means they targeted alot...they are both knee divers...Ford was one too...and those are pretty sad low tackle stats and if those guys in secondary are leaders just shows how abhorrent and crappy our LB play was...stats are not a measure of who's good in a lot of instances in football...that Lil snarky comment shows a lot of lack of football understanding...and yeah if up to me Kramdi and BA would not have started Bigblue204, BomberBall. and Piggy 1 3

Look at the tackle numbers that Awe got...he'd be highest paid player in league by your metrics...now go look at him...and the others...where relative to l.o.s were they made...how many were after yards were gained....2nd downs converted...how many were for 0 yards...or lost yards...then get back to me...obviously you've never graded a football game 1 minute ago, WinnipegGordo said: Oh well, it's been a nice run.
