RIP chase. Didn’t know you personally but felt like I watched you grow up a bit. Milt and the fam, hope you find strength and peace in knowing that all of bombers nation is mourning with you. Does anyone know the cause of death? Was it heatstroke like the other girl the same age the other day.

We lost one my cousins in a similar way - he was 21 (unknown heart defect)

It is mind-numbingly hard, none of his immediate family have been the same since then

I hope the Stegalls have strong support, they are going to need it

I had a friend who passed away younger and no bs, saw his mom and dad a year later and they aged significantly. Definitely hard on the family.

I remember Chase being out there with his dad when he was being honored by the Bombers.  I always kept the hope that one day he'd be a football player, and play for Winnipeg like his dad.  I know football didn't end up being his choice for sports, but I knew whatever he did he'd make his dad proud.  This is one of those "life just isn't fair" moments.  Too many of those lately unfortunately.

Looks like Chase had a bad seizure in February....
