  • Yeah I mean I’m not one for the political talk but can we all just please agree Donald Trump is a ******* loser ruining the world? McInnis at 250k is interesting … sure wouldn’t expect an America

  • I don't see anything on X because I got rid of it when it was bought by Elon F'n Musk.  X is run by a Nazi for Nazi's & MAGA's.  If you're still there, you are supporting them even if you don

  • I'm not sure the league is ready for a Blue bombers vs Blue bombers GC though

Did he? I thought he was given the token OC gig in calgary at some point?

How big should the story about the 2 Regina rams charged with fentanyl possession and intent to distribute be?

He was a high level offensive assistant as well under strict controlling offensive coach. Which is a strange position but still a great jump.
A lot of hc jobs tend to revolve around offensive minds over any others. QBc to hc is probably the most logical jump though a big one.

I also thought it was way off, then I noticed it's only tracking from 1954 onward

Argos and Bombers both won 9 in that span, Als won 7, the most recent wins are included... I think it's all there

Yeesh if being a Cats Stamps or Riders fan wasn't bad enough on it's own... those are some rough numbers in the big dance

I mean it says right on it with an asterisk "FROM 1954 ONWARD" kinda thing...

I guess I was just so distracted by that -77 ticat differential that nothing was sinking in haha

It has got to be rough

Yeah, it makes me feel good to see God's Own topping the list.

But seriously, it makes me feel even better to see the Marianas Trenchesque graph representation that is the Ticats' Grey Cup "performance".

Yeah he's an anomaly - skipping the positional coach role to become a coordinator and then skipping OC or DC to become HC.  Can't recall any other HC in recent memory that has had a career path like that.

You'd think he'd want to have coached linebackers as he is in the CFHOF as a linebacker.

When you think of everything a qb has to know it also makes sene.

I feel like a QB who mostly carried a clipboard in our league would also be more of a student of the game sort of guy.

The real reason the Bombers lost the last 3 cups... they didn't play the Ti-Cats.

Hopefully the Ti-Cats are good enough to make it there this year!

For sure. That's why we see the clipboard guys move the fastest up the ranks in coaching. People always think it'll be the extremely successful qbs that translate, but the guys who didn't make it tend to out perform by a lot.

I think that clip board holders, and QBs that are not highly athletic, usually HAVE to be more well versed in the X's and O's. However, personality and ability to lead is just as important. Anyone think that a guy like MBT would make a great coach?

100%, they also have that chip on their shoulder and the work ethic to create success. Plenty of talented guys can go far just by winging it.

MBT could be extremely successful as a coach at HS or the college level in the bible belt. His schtick would be extremely effective on kids.

Those that can do, those that can't teach.

Those that can't teach teach gym.

Nope. MBT would be burnt at the stake for heresy in the bible belt.

Maybe on the edges, but if he goes into snake-handling country he will be right at home.
