Riders at Bombers WF Chat

Man, they're quite cocky over there right now. They played a decent game, nothing scary, we aint BC.

Haba on the outside looking in as a healthy scratch, this might be it for him.

The context that he was critical of coaching and personnel moves?

Looks like Kyrie Wilson and Alexander gonna be this years version of injured players playing.

Idk about kyrie. Ba I think will. But ba has been injured for the last 3 finals it’s par for the course.

If they're healthy it's not comparable to last year.

Healthy according to who?  There were guys deemed healthy enough to play last year and clearly weren't.  It could be a comparable situation but we wouldn't know until we see them on the field.

Let's just be greatfull they aren't dressing Schoen and Bighill in their current state. 🤣  Wilson and Alexander were full participants in practice. Correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think that happened with Schoen and Bighill Grey Cup week last year?

I wouldn't put any weight into if Osh says they are "healthy" as we have seen what...5....6 "healthy" guys the last 2 playoff runs hurt us severely.

Also....neither will be in any game condition at all....and thats cardio wise....vision wise and most importantly physically/tackling wise...addition of either or both at this point would be ...again a huge coaching gaff

Only player I would insert fresh is Person's solely for the unknown factor with him as a rotation piece...that and the fact I think he has the best all around skill set of any of our ends

Those two did not practice the week of GC but like Booch said there were a few guys who were not healthy and it hurt us having them out there.

Bighill and Schoen  last year were gtd. They hadn't practiced unless it was the last day.For wilson he may go in and  play limited reps much like Ayers would.

Alexander needs to be able to properly tackle, Ouellette and Armstead arent going down easily, 1 1/2 Arms aren't going to do it

MOS saying they're healthy just means their arms and legs are still attached.

And that the thorax is thoraxing.

I don't think Biggie had practiced for many weeks before the GC last season, for Schoen it was 6 weeks.  I hope BA can return for the WF, to my eyes Jake Kelly has been adequate in coverage but physically inadequate as his replacement.

BA I can see....and he came on pretty well this yr save for a few wtf's tackling....and his experience back there be big....but as much as I love Wilson...that be a dumb move to bump off Ayers....or god forbid Griffin....or one the import dline guys...who may be a big reason we win this weekend. He will not be game ready.....rusty as hell....and who knows if he actually healthy enough to last the entire game?

And if BA comes in and it allows for Kelly coming in instead of Hallett for the times we go that 7th db scheme...thats a win right there...Hallett is awful in that role...he's a pure ST guy and that all he should be

Yeah ba surprised me with his return to form in coverage. Jys system really helps to get the most out of him.
I wonder if in the course of Laying out all those hellacious hits (many on bc lions WRs) he really hurt some thing in his neck/shoulder.
Hes too smart to not be able to wrap and tackle. I wonder if he physically can’t do it now, or if it’s severely limited/painful.

Id be happy if Kelly stayed starting, if we used the imp starter else where, and didn’t bring either hallett in to cover. Unless it’s a kick they just can’t cover now. They are both tough smart guys you love to go to war with, but they have a better chance at playing guard than covering a wr.
Other wise, and most likely our best bet is a ba return.
I could see Kelly taking over as the starting S next year, but for that we really need to find one more ni db who can cover.

As much as I love what kyrie has shown here at times, there is no imp on D worth taking off for him even if he’s playing his best ball of this year. And I don’t think even that is likely.

I mean they're practicing so that's a step up on some of the guys who dressed in the grey cup last year.
