Bombers at Ticats lead up talk

I expect a much more difficult go than Edmonton, Bo playing some damn good ball. Tons on the line for both teams, potential West clinching game (with a Sask loss), should be a damn good one.

We always seem to play like **** in Hamilton. Hopefully the old Zach makes another appearance.

Chance of shower during the game. Not sure if thats good or bad.

For the type of power runner BO is, it might be advantage Winnipeg. :)

That Greg Bell in Hamilton has been running well and is a big boy. Our run defense has been diarrhea lately so i dont know how much of an advantage it id for us.

Bell is banged up (ribs).  He didn't practice Monday and was limited yesterday.

Id love to go into playoffs riding a heater, but this does feel like a game we *should* lose. Then win next week at home, then the final game at Montreal is a nothing burger that doesn't matter with mostly back ups playing and could go either way....

I see us winning out actually

BLM looked really good against BC. Gotta get after him, make him cry.

Like to see if this O we saw, last game.....is sustainable, or simply a mirage......

Bo looked good in the 2nd half against BC  Hopefully we can make him look like 1st half Bo

The key against him has always been keep him from settling in the pocket and gaining momentum. Willie needs to be a factor, which he hasn't lately when playing Hamilton

Willy has been quiet for a few games now IMO. Hopefully he terrorizes BLM into next year.......

Pressure on BLM would be good, but the secondary is the straw that stirs the Bombers' drink.

Quite ,quite.....

Willy needs help, nobody has stepped up to replace Jeffcoat who was a handful to contend with on every play, the pass rush has become a secondary function.

I kinda prefer this version of our D. Over the years with Hall, there were times when they couldn't defend the pass if the DL was having an off day or consistently getting blocked.  Now, the coverage is still good after several steam boats.

The pass rush as a secondary function is as much by design as it is personnel driven. Younger is purposely sacrificing pass rush for coverage, to some pretty good results I might add.

Yea, we are playing with little to no blitzing and few true pass rush 4 man fronts. Its giving us great results so far.

Halls D was very much a send shitty blitz scheme imo. No disguise really just force a quick throw without any disguise.

This D seems much more difficult for teams to figure out. If the DL can improve it could be ever more deadly.

Every so often with Hall, the secondary would be lights out. Then you were like "where did this come from?"

Agree, this scheme allows the Safety and MLB to play more traditional roles, which allows them to focus on their primary responsibilities and simplifies the positional play when others have to step in for them.

Agreed.  And on that note, I would say he's also sacrificing some run defense, to focus more on pass coverage

I guess it is what is.  In a league that favours offense so much, the defense literally has to pick their poison

It's a passing league. Always has been, always will be. Can't pass....can't win....or at least won't win often.

That said, the last 4 gc winners and 6/8 gc finalists have been run to throw teams. The Hamilton style of pass first run never hasn’t worked in a long time.

Indoor GC this year...could very well change that...
