I believe Caesar’s has the Bombers as underdogs.

How are we going to stop Rourke from running? We haven't been good against the run and we're traditionally not great against mobile QBs, like Masoli.

seem to keep te Faj bottled up nicely

Why do a lot of people seem to think the WIL LBers job is primarily in pass coverage...

Add into the fact that Wilson is a very good coverage linebacker, one of if not the best in the league and you have a reason to be concerned.

Ewww, 4 days before the next game. Boys are still going to be recovering from Monday's game...

Is this the shortest time between games for a team?

The Riders had the same turnaround in their game in Montreal. Dumb scheduling.

but a quick trip to edm....from sask...to mtl is pale in comparison to wpg to T.O....timezone away...Then back across the country 3 times zones the opposite direction....but agreed...the short week scheduling is lame and dumb, and i'm sure the powers that be could of at least gave us an Edm or CGY game next, but whatever...is what it is

Yea, precisely. Ottawa plays Saturday July 16th in Hamilton, and then Thursday night they play at home. Short week, but no travel.

Hamilton, however, goes to BC Thursday after playing that Saturday… makes limited sense

Highlight of last weekends Als/Riders game was Fajardo doing his patented spin move only to find 2 Al defenders waiting for him at the door.

Correct.

I bet it’s more of a walk through.

I think rourke will get yards late but not tds. And I think this will be his toughest game. If ba and kyrie were healthy I think he’d be in deep water.

Make them earn every .. single .. yard.

This generally has been the Bombers MO the last few years. They give up yards but teams have to earn them. They are a grind it out defense that brings big time physicality.

Any news on Wilson? Hardrick on this short week going to play?

The difference so far this year has been an offense that doesn't chew up clock and throw up a lot of points to help the defense like it did last year. They'll need to play a bit better on Saturday for us to have a chance.

Last time these two teams met? October 21st.. 45-0 Bombers 😀

sounds like Wilson will be out a while... no news on Hardrick (as far as I know)

I'd be blown away if Wilson is able to get back on the field this year. And I hope Hardrick is able to go, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit this week out.

Id be lying if I said I wasn't concerned this week. BC has a very potent offence. I feel like this week could be a "First to 30 wins" type of game. And I'm not convinced our O has the ability to keep pace with BC if our D doesn't hold them.

There won't be any injury news this week, likely, as there are no public practices. We *probably* won't know anything until the roster is released on Friday...

I think the schedulers discovered that weed is legal the very day the season was to be made

BC also has a pretty underrated secondary, a lot of playmakers there.

The way Wilson got hurt was very concerning... non-contact injuries can sometimes be the worst kind...

Boot and crutches. Looks to be an Achilles thing.
