2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition

So, looking ahead....what's our off season going to look like? Coaches and GM all still under contract, right? Players? Who's going to the NFL? Who do we think might bolt in FA? Pieces that we'd like to see the WBB pick up in FA?

All this burger talk, picked up some fresh ground chuck and going throw burgers down over some charcoal tomorrow. Just a little too much snow in the charge to do smash burgers on the wood fired Teppan grill.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian lineman Ben Koczwara and American defensive back Corey Straughter, it was announced Friday.

Kocwara was selected No. 67 overall by the Bombers in the 2018 CFL Draft and spent time with the Toronto Argonauts during the 2021 season. He previously played four seasons at the University of Waterloo.

The 21-year-old Straughter went undrafted following three seasons at Louisiana-Monroe. He signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year but was released at the end of August. He led the Sun Belt Conference with five interceptions and 15 passes defenced in 2019.

Injuries happen.

A tackle with experience that Walters could fit in within the cap? Great!

Alex Hall would like to say his congratulations

Anyone else hear Miller say they would be unveiling a 3rd jersey next month?

ehhhhhhhhhh........ cash grab. You can't improve on the kits they have.... hopefully just a one off and it's not as egregious as I'm imagining.

Thought I read somewhere that they wanted to do the “heritage” thing again this season.

Cfl vet imp tackle To be a 3rd string back up ie a guy to throw at all the pass rushers to prevent over working the top 3. If he dies he dies. If he doesnt he deserves a pr spot.

DB Marlon Character from Louisville on the transaction report

Bet he's a high character guy

Leave our jerseys alone. I blame Ambroise. Also sure he's behind all the dang potholes in Winnipeg.

Those should be banned from this site.

I'll hold off until I can actually see them, but I'm not expecting anything crazy.

Could you imagine if they made a retro version of our “unfinished business” early 2000’s jerseys. I mean wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world those were pretty nice.

These jerseys looked like the result of standing outside while a flock of seagulls with loose bowels was passing over slowly.
