NFL thread

Surprised there isn't a thread dedicated to NFL discussion...I will start it off:

how about that Myles Garrett helmet swinging from last night??  It's all over social media if you haven't seen it.  Can't see him playing again this season.

That O line is the reason Chiefs won. After that debacle against Tampa ,Chiefs went and rebuilt that o line. Mahommes is a special player ,love em or hate em.

Surprised at the lack of respect the Fox broadcast showed the Chiefs with everyone picking the Eagles. One helluva game for those who think the NFL is boring. It was all offense.

Anyone see the skinny Colonel Sanders making chicken today? Like WTF?? Is KFC now saying their chicken is healthy & can make you lose weight like Subway did 15 years ago? is that an older Joel fresh out of jail & in makeup doing a new gig??

That punt return was huge,   Eagles took a dump in the 2nd half.

A SuperBowl commercial in which Dave Grohl tells Americans they owe Canada thanks for many things, including FOOTBALL

Worst moment of the Superbowl, camera pans to the box where Musk and Murdoch are chowing down on dogs and Fox broadcast commentator remarks there's a couple of brilliant minds.

Cringe, barf.

#1 O vs #1 D - picking D everytime.

Eagles let me down, cost me $5 but my consecutive streak at betting continues 0/34 now 😂

Nah, worst moment was Terry Bradshaw telling Andy Reid to "waddle over here". He just didn't look happy doing the interviews. And when he got back to the panel, he looked distracted. He wasn't smiling at all. This is coming from a longtime Bradshaw fan but it might be time to retire. In Bradshaw's defense, he does suffer from depression & he also beat two different kinds of cancer this past year. It's been a tough past 12 months for the guy.

And chemo does mess with your brain, not that Bradshaw had many brain cells to begin with.

Enough to effectively read a defense.

The NFL suspended five players for violating the league’s gambling policy on Friday.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Quintez Cephus and safety C.J. Moore and Washington Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney were suspended indefinitely, while Lions wide receivers Stanley Berryhill and Jameson Williams were suspended six games.

Cephus, Moore and Toney are suspended indefinitely through at least the conclusion of the 2023 season for betting on NFL games in the 2022 season, and may petition for reinstatement at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

“We are in the process of gathering more information and will not be commenting further at this time," The Patriots said in a statement.

EAST BOSTON, Mass. (AP) — A New England Patriots player was arrested Friday evening at a security checkpoint at Boston’s Logan Airport after two guns were found inside carry-on luggage, Massachusetts State Police said.

Police said 25-year-old Jackie K. Jones of Arizona was arrested Friday evening, WCVB-TV reported. He had been planning to travel from Boston to Arizona, according to police.

I wish I could laugh at the absurdity of that, but it is so much closer to truth than anyone cares to admit.
