I guess you just don't like successful teams.

nah the als under don Mathews, and previous Buono led super teams I liked. Despite some greasy stuff with the als back then. I just really do not like these two organizations.

I think the Stamps take it. That is a damned good defense the Stamps have.  Harris won't have the stats he had vs Hamilton.

agree

So, to review:

Masoli is chosen over Bo Levi Mitchell, who I'm guessing is going to win MOP tonight over Masoli. (I'll edit after the awards given out if I'm wrong)

Neither Andrew Harris (CFL rushing leader) or Brad Sinopoli (most catches by any receiver, and an all-time Canadian record, to boot) both up for outstanding Canadian player, are on this list

Neither Stanley Bryant or Brandon Revenberg, both up for most outstanding o-lineman, are on the team

Neither Adam Bighill or Larry Dean, both up for defensive MOP, are on the team

Ty Long, his team's MOP as a kicker/punter and the west nominee for special teamer, is not on the list in either the kicking or punting spot

Lewis Ward is on the list as "special teams" (usually reserved for a returner) but is beaten out by Brett Lauther for the "kicker" spot (remind me what Ward does again?)

Saskatchewan and Hamilton, #4 and #5 in points given up, have 7 of the 12 defensive starters, #1 Calgary has 2, #2 Winnipeg has 1, and #3 Ottawa has zero.

BC, #7 in points scored, and Toronto, #8, had 2 players each on offence, one more in total than #1 Winnipeg and #2 Calgary had 3 between them (and all 3 of their offensive players were on the o-line)

Hamilton has 5 players on the team (more than any other team except Saskatchewan) and yet finished 8-10. So did the coaching hold the talent back? Nope, June Jones was named best coach (ahead of award nominees Chris Jones and Rick Campbell, along with Dave Dickenson and his league-best record). This was the #7 team in the league this year based on their record.

I’d say you put more thought into this than the CFLPA did.

Hmmmmm it almost looks that way.

That is the most out of touch all star team I have ever seen. That list is so bad it stinks of rotten flesh. Like discovering a dead body that was left in the trunk of a car in plus 30 temps for a month. Even the maggots died from the rotten stench. It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.  The CFLPA should be ashamed of itself. If this is a portend on how these clowns will negotiate a new CBA for their members, then the players should have absolutely no confidence in their Union acting on their behalf.

Be interesting to see if the crowd cheers for Ottawa.

No idea which team will win, except I think it should be close.

It's impressive that with all so many injuries,  Calgary still got to the Greycup.

Yup, they should have an award for best depth. Calgary wins hands down.
