yup I agree.. hopefully we can figure out if Mulumba is coming to camp or not.. that would make it easier to decide on how much to toss towards Westermen.   Medlock cannot be signed for the same coin.  he was brutal this year.. I don't even know if i'd give him 125k even though he does double duty.   Maybe 125k plus incentives.   if the kid we drafted has come along then its really hard to want to burn that much money at a specialist role.

that's what I am hoping..we can save $$...he's a better punter and the DI spot can be way better utilized in a more productive manner. I want an offence that doesn't have to rely on filed goals outside the 40 consistantly to score points..

Felix Menard-Briere didn't attempt a single field goal this season for the Carabins, he was just their punter.

FG kicking was the area of his game he needed work on, thought him going back to school would let him work it out. thats disappointing to hear.

If they were worried about losing him, the Bombers could have stashed him on the 1 game IR like the did those other guys.  The fact they didn't have to, might indicate that there's already a plan for next year.

I think you have to resign Westerman to give you that legit starting NI option. How we use the ratio will be interesting next year.

I wonder if we'll take a look at Quinn Van Gylswyk if he makes it to FA?

Fairly sure he has started some games for the Chiefs.

LDT was never a CFL guy

Given that they'll probably be downgrading at left guard due to the ratio, I would try to retain Medlock. I can't see any reason why we should expect the O to score more touchdowns next year. 

If im bond. Im looking to get paid. NFL or CFL.

good point.

Would love to see Bauman in TC2018... his highlight reel posted on this forum was pretty intriguing.  

Demski as a FA acquisition would be huge, as would Wolitarsky's development into a starter/backup role - the kid seems to have all the tools.

If we could pick up Demski in the off season and a guy like Ernest Jackson I would be a happy camper.  Manny is wishful thinking.. but a core of Jackson, Adams, Dressler, Demski, Coates/Wolitarsky would be a big upgrade already.

Nichols was tied for third in passing TDs (28) and the offense scored 43 combined (28 passing + 15 rushing). If the team upgrades its receiving corps (which it damn well should), there's no reason why the offense can't score more majors next season.

3 years into a system and Nichols healthy all year (tho you cant count on that) alone will make for more TD's

Now you add some receiver talent and I am sure that is the top thing on the off-season list with a linebacker and easily we score more.  I don't think Nichols has reached his top potential yet, and he seems to be a student of the game as well and very focused on continual improvement so a better season I think is pretty much a guarantee out of him...or if anything a similar one

Well that's odd.  I suppose the punting is usually the difficult part of the equation so heres hoping that he at least was practicing FG's in his down time.

I agree but we are assuming the worst here... he could have been the back up kicker and he coulda been practicing regularly...

yea that would definitely work but who knows whats going on in Medlock's brain at the moment... he didn't seem to keen on coming back here for some reason... well, thats what I took from his last interview anyway, could have still been shell shocked.

ya me thinks this too.. I think Spooner likes it here and is one of the rare one who appreciates that we drafted him and spent the time working with and developing him..

yup I agree.. if he is healthy and he wants to be back, we gotta make it happen even if Mulumba comes up north.
