Well, it's now been settled, and we officially get to host the WSF at home.  Thankfully us getting the Friday game gives us one extra day to rest and then prepare for one of the CFL's two villains.  So who do we want?

 

Me personally .... I'm probably going to go with the Ridirts.  It's not just about knocking off your rival, it's about getting the good matchup here.  I just really believe the Ridirts are a bad team with a good record.  They got there purely on luck.  Edmonton on the other hand ... Well they won 7 in a row, got injured and lost 6, but as they've started getting healthy, confidence is certainly getting back up.

 

My hope ... SSK wins but that both teams beat each other up bad enough that they both go limping into the playoffs.

Redblacks/Argos 45 Ridirts 14, oh yes I'm calling it right now.  They're going nowhere out east.

I hope the Riders win out in the East and then we can beat them in the Grey Cup. That would be the sweetest!

ive allways dreamed of a GC win over the crieders. 

I don't want the Riders in the East Final. If they're in it, they can win it.

It would be awesome, but damn ... they're the most penalized undisciplined team I ever seen, and I just don't see them winning anything.  And good lord that Bridge was bad tonight.  Apart from one good throw to Holley, he threw about 5 passes that Edmonton defenders dropped.  Awful awful.

Really wanted the Riders.......certainly not the Moes.     But it is what it is.

Whoever that clown was who said the Esks won't run it much ... better look at that tape again.

Esks are a scary team...... But I know we can beat em.

Well, I wasn't the one who said the Esks wouldn't run it much, but I will own up to the fact that I did say I'd prefer to see the Esks than the 'Riders (using the logic the 'Riders were the better team). Boy did I learn my lesson:

When in doubt... Riders' suck.

Obviously you don’t hate the the ssk team enough. I hope the riders win nothing.

40% run to pass in that game and over a third of those run plays came when they were up by 2 TD's.  Gable isn't taking them anywhere.

Riders will have Richardson, Thigpen and LaFrance taking carries in Ottawa next week, plus Bridge taking 15 yards at a time.  

I'll take my chances with Reilly's arm.  He's had one good playoff and choked every other year.  As long as the Bombers O doesn't turn it over they have a great shot vs Eskies in -10.

reilly reilly wanted the riders.  Reilly put up good yards against us, 2tds and 1 pick in both games. We sacked him 5 times total and beat em both times. Gotta keep that big pressure goin.

Esks are 7-0 bombers will be in tough to win. Esks are not going to keep losing, be hard for Winnipeg to beat them in their own barn. **** em. Bombers proved they were better in the regular season they will do it again at home in the playoffs even when everyone else thinks Edmonton is sooooooo good.

Our OL has to enable our O to run the possession/ball control game.

Unfortunately the same could be said for our game against BC last week.... very few fans came out.   Will be interesting to see if we can get anywhere near a sellout without the aid of 5000 Rider fans snatching up tickets.

should be a good atmosphere.... many tailgated before the Grey Cup.  I expect no less come Sunday!   This week can't go by quick enough!!

Even with their losing, they are benefited from jumping over to the East. Argoblows and Renegades don't scream powerhouse to me.

A GC final against Sask would be special.

Based on the performances of both teams in the past four games, the Bombers will have a tougher time with the Esks than the Stamps. This could be the year the Bombers get to the Grey Cup and if/when they do, I like their chances.

Are they going to call PI on Edmonton's receivers? Big factor imo.

What happened to the whole damn narrative that they'd benefit the most from playing our banged up squad.  Man the posts I've seen on this site lately.
