Around the NHL
Absurd. You're watching different games then the rest of us.Nope I agree with Goalie no scoring threat from Burmi at all but is better defensively than I thought. Will shake out as fourth line guy tops. Petan has way more upside but Maurice is bringing him along slowly for now.

Lawless: O'Shea & Walters to return in 2016
After a loss........and a loss and a loss and........ Hell we should extend em all for 5 years we might make it to .500

Lawless: O'Shea & Walters to return in 2016
Yea but your now saying Hall should go too. When does the buck stop at the person responsible for hiring these assistants? I get it he's a good guy, great to his players but he ain't a good HC the record speaks for itself.

Lawless: O'Shea & Walters to return in 2016
I'm going to call you out and say a large Bullshit! Then I'll offer a challenge, explain why keeping Walters and MOS is a good idea. Here's a question, and I realize it's a hypothetical but play along if you don't mind (Others as well if you feel so inclined).Consider the wins we have now this season, and the amount of games we've lost in the final few minutes this year. Now assume we build a solid offensive line, Drew Willy plays 15-17 games (it's rare to play all 18 after all) and we have a new OC - What do you think our record is? Just curious. Who the hell cares? The fact is if this was a GOOD team you wouldn't have to make excuses. Calgary, Toronto, Hamilton, Edmonton, and Ottawa have all had injuries and adversity and come out on top on a majority of their games. Winnipeg gets beat by one injury and the slightest whiff of adversity. If Willy was healthy we win two more games, three tops. If we had a different OC? The same two games. What you are forgetting is that most of our losses were not by a point or two. The point is moot. This isn't a good team or a close to good team playing below their abilities this is a bad team playing at the peak of their abilities. Three of those teams have had the same QB for every game this season (Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa), and the other two have unquestionably the top two defences in the league. Sure all of them have injuries as well, but keep in mind some those teams you mentioned (home games against Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa immediately come to mind) very likely are not losses given the scenario I provided. The injuries they have (nevermind their respective offensive staffs) aren't in the realm of ours either currently.Edmonton Tor BC Mont all qbs issues their gonna be in, we're not. Man the excuses for this regime never ends . For Fuxk sake Popp has changed coaches fired his OC and gone through 5 qbs and is still gonna be in the playoffs over us.

Lawless: O'Shea & Walters to return in 2016
Why would any one want to come here after 3 years of a mess that MoS is gonna leave us when he gets canned next year? Name me one good coach in the CFl that took 3 years to field a competitive team? Only in Winnipeg could we settle for this tripe.

Fire O'Shea
7-11 last year if we are lucky 6-12 this year yea the anti MoS we just aren't patient enough, he just needs more time to find another good OC and special teams coach. Hopefully they fall in his lap cause he sure as hell can't pick em. People were calling Popp a circus well guess what circus is gonna make the playoffs over our clowns?

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion
Then you could volunteer to be his offensive coordinator, cause they couldn't afford to pay one.Yes they could. 3,000 extra tickets sold per game over a full season is an extra ~2 million dollars. Not very good at math, hey?Once they put together a legitimate balance sheet that demonstrates an ability to operate the Football Club, IGF and service their debts we can start dreaming. They haven't done that since the stadium opened. I don't know how you budget for sellouts. Hiring Hufnagel isn't like flipping a switch.I didn't budget for a sellout with Huff. I budgeted for 3000 more per game which would be an average of 30-31k per game. Realistic if you look at attendance during the 2011 Swaggerville season. If Huff could produce a consistent 10-12 win team, he'd more than pay for his salary at $1 million per season as GM and HC.And if he wins 15 games over two seasons and you want to fire him? Can you, or are you too invested financially? Hufnagel's success isn't just him. He's got the best personnel guy in the recent history of the league with him, he's got Dickenson, Stubler etc. If you can't build that organization, what's the point of paying one person? His rep would certainly attract top notch people to work with him. Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of his staff followed him. Might take a year or two, but he'd produce a winner. So year two and we still have no winning team, no decent OC cuz we cant afford one, crappy talent from firing walters and replacing with no name scouts as we couldnt afford better.. And huff is on the hot seat.. And willy or our starter goes down for a long time.. You can say how awesome it could be but flipping the coin it could be just as much a disaster.. Fun game I suppose. Isn't what your describing what we are going through right now?

Election 2015
Why start a narrative that isn't there? What deflection?Ofcourse it's a rejection. When the government gets beat like this it's a rejection. It doesn't meant there aren't other reasons. But certainly a rejection of the government. Liberals + 39 in Quebec. NDP -51. That tells the story. Really? No jk unknown poster:)

ahhh...the voice of reason!Yeah we keep progressing like this we should hit 4 wins next year.......

Election 2015
Symbols of oppression? Listen if I believed you were gullible enough to fall for that I would just shake my head and move on.Its just another ploy by a party to win an election and you know it.

Loyalty or...?
I'm not a MOS fan but it would seem to me this falls on Hall no?
-
Fire O'Shea
Well if that's his ONLY problem it's still huge cause this is pro ball and you go with players if they produce period. BTW you can throw in holding on to a subpar OC as well which falls on MOS.

Game 5: Flames @ Jets
Burmi had a good game can't score but we probably don't need him to.Still kinda not sold on Petan on the fourth, this kid needs to play.Confident that Maurice will do what's best for him though great coach at developing players imo.

Bombers vs RedBlacks (and Jovon's chirp)
So no help for our struggling offense?Just one backup Cdn rec?We can still win but our reliance on the D to carry us is gonna kick us in ass sooner or later Imo.

Election 2015
I agree with some of this article but there is no way in hell Harper gives up his power even if the Cons squeak in.There is only one way to ensure Harper leaves.

Tajh Boyd Released
He is the most experienced clipboard holder we have.I hear he is great at fetching MB his beer when he is formulating the game plan as well.

Edmonton Oilers LOL (perhaps Calgary Flames LOL)
Waaay to early to make that comparison.I just hope they don't put too much pressure on McDavid.

Give me a break. There are better qbs out there that haven't been signed. Free agents. It's called RECRUITING, Mike.I've heard of recruiting once or twice. I'll try explaining once more. How can you, as a fan, say Davis is worth cutting when you're basically going off absolutely nothing? You say there are better quarterbacks out there. Obviously. But if that's your argument, we may as well just cut everyone because we're not rostering the best anything in the whole world right now.I'm asking you - how can you justifiable say with any confidence that he should (or should not) be cut when you're giving a blind opinion on the topic? We haven't seen him do anything, good or bad. Mike, this is a merry go round with you. Round & round. As usual when you start up with me it always ends this way. You're actually arguing with me over the merits of keeping a fourth string qb?? What I said was my opinion. If I could see this discussion actually going somewhere I'd be more interested in carrying on. I'm done talking to you. Buh bye. It's funny because everyone can see I've actually been trying to get your take on something for like the last 8 posts and you just keep dodging it. You can blame me for a merry-go-round if you want but I'm not the one refusing to answer a simple question.Iso's gonna IsoA different opinion doesn't mean he's wrong. A few posters ganging up on a member doesn't mean that member is wrong either. It's not about a different opinion, it's about refusing to back up his opinion and opting instead to try and pretend like people are attacking him for having an opinion as opposed for asking for that opinion to be clarified and expanded upon. I swear there is a real lack of understanding the difference here. Yes, I'm guilty as charged for the crime of having an opinion. For that I am being sentenced to death by hanging. There's the gallows. Throw the lever & drop the floor. Let me hang until dead. Yea, though I walk through the Valley Of The Shadow Of Death, I fear no evil. Thy rod & thy staff, they comfort me. I'm entitled to one last dinner of choice, prime rib on the barbecue. Also a cigarette & whiskey on the rocks before my execution. I also have but one last simple request... I have a letter in my back pocket for my family. Please make sure they get it & tell them... I loved them.. But wait the rope broke (it was frayed ) and now he plots his revenge........

Really if none of these guys can't supplant Brohm what hope do they have?Unless (shock)it's all because of that wacky OC we have?
