  1. I think the fact that we are not even competitive in the playoffs is more a factor, i don't necessarily expect us to win but damn we are not even in the series the last 2 years. I would add Chevy's strange aversion to drafting local products as well. You look at Seth Jarvis in Carolina and it keeps hitting me why Chevy does not want to draft local players?? Is it a fluke?
  2. Time to clean house, new GM new coach, it won't happen but to dream...we desperately need a new direction. I just don't see Chevy making big changes to his core players.
  3. Hate to say this...but TO has grit, top guy out and they find a way...Bruins now are definitely in trouble. If this continues might have to drop watching the NHL playoffs! 😉
  4. If the Bruins lose this game watch out....Mathews expected back? I refuse to look on the Toronto Sports network..😄
  5. Crap TO still alive! Wpg your on the clock!
  6. You look at that lineup, only one physical line and our smallest defense ( without Dillion and Stanley) i guess Kupari is done here, too bad about Barron we could of used his size. We gotta go with the horses we have...Go Jets!
  7. Sorry when you always finish first in the league AND the draft is a crapshoot of who will actually show up to play on your team of course we sign more free agent impact Canadian players, but when we were a weak team Walters drafted impact Canadian players as well as any CFL GM.
  8. Ok don't ask me why but I'm calling it, Jets win this one. I keep remembering the comeback against the Hurricanes. They have to want this one,hit everything that moves boys and leave nothing left in the tank.Play like your captain! Go Jets!
  9. Right now with the salary cap it should be fairly level( except for Vegas) between small and large markets money wise but desired location? That gap has gotten huge and Chevy is definitely behind the eight ball there. A lot of bouncing balls to catch. I guess we see in the offseason which way we go...
  10. For me is will Chevy finally realize this core that he drafted is not good enough? Can he blow up this team and start again? Alot of tough questions this off season. I am hopeful though that we will win this game and at least not go down without a fight.
  11. Whelp the other benefit to a Leafs loss is i can check TSN( Toronto sports network) and all the focus is how terrible the leafs have played in their series....is there any other Canadian teams in the playoffs? 😄
  12. The way he has been playing lately Winnipeg being one of those teams...😉
  13. I am hoping for Bosse, with our coaching i think we could develop this guy.
  14. Whelp i hate to say i told ya... team just doesn't have it physically, i wish i was wrong. Bowness needs to make more than one minor change and if we are out early again this year...it is finally time to look at Chevy. Can he be objective with players that he has drafted? Can he really overhaul this team?
  15. Ahhh one change and it's Schmidt in...what a shocker. The Avs will be shaking now...
  16. Is he ok? Will he survive? And people wonder why the Leafs are hated...please Boston do us a favor and save us! 😄
  17. I wonder why the CFL would suspend a guy who is aleady retired? I guess at least he is still kind of around to suspend i guess?? Better late than never? 😄
  18. Physically dominated again, same old song, i just don't think we have the player's for that type of game, what's scary is that Chevy thinks this team IS built for a physical series. Put in Miller, Schmidt hopefully Barron is back will help. But will Bowness do that?
  19. This is what i have been talking about, toughness, we have to be more physical. The question is do we have the player's to survive a series? We need to match Colorado' s physical play or this series is done. I expect the Jets to be better next game.
  20. Snippet from the Athletic looks like no worries with Mcgroarty...... A league source tells The Athletic that this is not the expectation for McGroarty: McGroarty’s decision was made with his NHL development and an eventual Jets roster spot in mind. The opportunity to increase his role as a third-year player in Michigan is clear; with fellow stars like Brindley, Duke and Nazar signing in the NHL, McGroarty will be counted on to drive results. There’s also the potential of being named captain as Jacob Truscott just completed his fourth year. Meanwhile, Winnipeg is a deep team, particularly up front and on the wings. Sean Monahan and Tyler Toffoli are the only 2024 UFAs on the roster, which already leaves Cole Perfetti, the No. 10 pick in 2020, on the outside looking in. With fellow 2022 first-round pick Brad Lambert and 2021 second-round pick Nikita Chibrikov making big strides with Manitoba in the AHL this season, it’s difficult to look at the Jets roster and see immediate NHL playing time. Whereas Nazar has already played (and scored) in the NHL for Chicago and Brindley will make an immediate debut for Columbus, McGroarty doesn’t have that same runway in Winnipeg.
