Any show is a better show then Adler's. I like that he asks the hard questions, but he sometimes goes too far with his own agenda and acts like one child making fun of another child. And that is what happens when you try to be a Bill O'Reilly/Ezra Levant clone.

I didn't pay enough attention to him today to comment on how he looked today. I paid attention to the punt /kick return drill and didn't seem impressed. The way he caught the ball screamed fumble if it was a regular game. It's day 1 so in not going to freak out over it. I am/was expecting Veltung to show really well and early in camp. We have enough kick returners that he is not going to get too many chances to stand out.

Marve may have all the assets he needs to be a great CFL QB except the experience he can pick up but how much onus can we place on him with such a wonky knee? It could let him and the team down at a critical moment and could be a problem just waiting to happen.

CJOB's coach's show is almost unlistenable- it seems to be about 15 minutes of actual sports chat and the rest is commercials and announcements. The whole purpose of their sports broadcasts is to squeeze in as much revenue-generation stuff as possible and when Irving is doing a solo broadcast, it is just sad how much 'OB cheaps out.

Sounds like a lot of good competion for our NI receivers and somewhat surprising that Reaves looks as good as he does- he may have a very high ceiling if he is showing this well this early. We may have some interesting trade bait for some interesting returns.

My favourite was Gene Kiniski. I had watched him on TV (my dad was a wrestling fan) so when I was able, I went to see him at the Arena. I can't recall who he was pitted against that night, but at some point, he had his apponent in a headlock and was "dragging" his opponent's face along the ropes. An older lady a few rows ahead of me near the side of the ring where Kiniski was savaging his foe "illegally", stood up and screamed," You dirty rotten fourletterwording Polack". Without pausing, Kiniski turned to her and retorted," I told you not to come tonight, mother." The whole arena broke up.
