  1. When the organization is starved for talent, some players can think they can call their own shots. No such this year.
  2. Music to my ears. Thanks!
  3. Ok, how about male patients in care homes being a Viagra pill at bedtime to prevent them from accidentally rolling out of bed,
  4. Except perhaps by irate fans.
  5. Did McMahon ever come clean about the gay sexual harassment charges against him?
  6. For anyone who gives a spit, the unfortunately-named, Bomber alumnus Tyler Crapigna is in the Stampeder training camp.
  7. I might be best suited for the safety as in my dating years I was often considered the last chance to avoid embarassment.
  8. No.. Not really. Sounds like a football player getting ready to ball.. Lemme guess, me saying ball in reference to a homosexual football player is funny.. Smh. What are we, 12? It could have been worse- what if Sam had been a center?
  9. My favourite was Gene Kiniski. I had watched him on TV (my dad was a wrestling fan) so when I was able, I went to see him at the Arena. I can't recall who he was pitted against that night, but at some point, he had his apponent in a headlock and was "dragging" his opponent's face along the ropes. An older lady a few rows ahead of me near the side of the ring where Kiniski was savaging his foe "illegally", stood up and screamed," You dirty rotten fourletterwording Polack". Without pausing, Kiniski turned to her and retorted," I told you not to come tonight, mother." The whole arena broke up.
  10. We need Tuesday morniing football!
  11. This schedule will appal both of their fans.
  12. Denmark, Moore and Kohlert are all move the chains, sure hands type guys. We're really missing a boundary WR. Moore and Denmark are both ok there, but better suited to the slot. Based on Adams, Tuinei, Childs, Gettis, Clemons being in camp, that's the spot they are looking to fill. Having a run game that can break a tackle will open up some space for everyone too. I'm big on having a devastating run game and have been for years. When the DBs have to play up tight to the line, suddenly all kinds of room opens up on the medium routes and 10 yard passes become 25 yard gains.
  13. And there go all the opportunities for sheep jokes.
  14. Now you've gone and ruined it for us.
  15. Maybe because Richards has yet to show up? Richards is a non-counter. Remedial math class will take care of that.
  16. Depends where he lines up eventually. If he has the size to play wideout then he'll most likely ever only play on one side of the field, reducing the number of routes on the tree by 50%. And it's not like every team uses a zillion different routes, I can't see him learning (or knowing) being that big of an issue. Just gives you an idea. Where were you when Mike Kelly was coaching.... I couldn't help but notice the jet sweep is not listed here... That happened against Anaheim, only it was reversed.
  17. Even for a second rounder (and Evan Gill) I think it's a good deal. But Kyle maybe looking for another (NI) player instead of a draft pick. I just proposed that because Walters lost the 2016 first rounder in getting Waggoner. But I agree; replace the first for a second rounder and it's still probably a trade I'd make. Greaves is a proven starting NI. Gill + 2nd rounder is not enough value. First rounder was closer. One proven for two unprovens with projected high potential. This seems to have been simmering on the back burner for awhile, so if the rumour persists, it probably has some basis in fact. We would also seem to have an excess of NI DB/linebacker candidates, so they might figure into the deal.
  18. Doubt it. BC was short of good Canadian receivers last season and Poblah did not see much of the field. Wally is not omniscient but he's generally a pretty good judge of talent and he couldn't even trade Poblah for futures.
  19. No, its the shed for the VIP carriages and donkey carts for the plebes.
  20. You have a rich fantasy life, don't you?
  21. is that a fat joke? Maybe. The center in an Oreo is mostly lard.
  22. Thanks, Mike. Gives us some clues as to the shape of things to come.
  23. Re: Richards' footspeed or lack thereof- whilist living in Saskabush, I had occasion to see Ray Elgaard a few times. He sure as spit didn't scare anyone with his speed, but he was good enough with his hands to more than offset that. Richards comes across as a good student of the game, durable and with good work habits. Not worried about him at all.
  24. Are ewe trying to pull our eyes over the wool?
