Sounds like the Miller era in Regina when Marshall took over. -

And the transfusion continues.... -
The quick flick toss that Boyd has could be a lifesaver for him considering the porosity of our O-line at present. Still, Boyd has to make his bones like everyone else, but he seems to be smart enough to make the transition.

Leggett can do a lot of things. He's able to show that being closer to the LOS. I liked their 30 fronts with all the backers on the field. Hurl has been playing very well and now taking on more of a role on 2nd downs in recent weeks. Couldn't agree more... I fell like the defence adds another dimension when Simmons is out there too.... Imagine having Bass, Simmons, Muamba and Leggett on the field at once... I would pee my pants before every game and I'm not that old. Are you sure this has to do with the game?

6'2" and 222lb is short and stocky???

If he is a Christian, I would be worried. Why? You've never heard the claims about Christians being thrown to the lions in ancient Roman times (it never actually happened but lots of people think it did). And Henoc is a devout Christian. Christians were, in fact fed to the lions at the colloseum in Rome, along with other captives from foreign lands, criminals and rebels. Animals were also pitted against each other as well, and gladiators fought each other, too. But the "Christians" got their revenge. When Constantine converted to Christianity (sort of), and made it the official religion of the Roman empire, the newly minted Christians cheerfully began to toss pagans into the arena. The more things change, the more they remain the same.

Muamba is playing both ends against the middle. -
PS: he apparently can play either drop back or roll-out and take off himself. Mmmmmarvelous!

I like this! A quick google check indicates that he has the size (6'2", 222 lb) , durability, athleticism and smarts to successful in this league. No personal conduct issues that I could find. Goodbye, Messers Davis, Brohm and Marve.

I believe Elimiman is done for the year I believe. Regardless BC will be blowing things up and starting over if they don't start stringing together some wins. Wally may be in real trouble this year- a strange situation for him. Although I think Tedford is a good coach, the Lions are in the same situation as the Riders, and maybe even the Bombers with their quarterbacking. -
Are the Bombers going to have to wear yoga pants as partt of the deal?
-
If Nichols progresses as much as we hope, there is no reason to believe that we can't beat a reeling Montreal team.

Moore was awesome last Satruday before he got hurt. Darvin Adams has to be told that if he doesn't show up on every play,he's gonzo and maybe Denmark is just tired of carrying the whole receiving corps on his back. Adams looked really, really good in that one game, and I thought we had found a receiver who would be our other deep threat.

so this Bass fellow is an American. Did the blue bombers find him? Yup, I believe so.

Bass is doing just fine, thank you, and seems to have a pretty high ceiling. A real good find.

When Incompetence Isn't Fired, Teamwork Is Destroyed

Obviously you have never been employed by government. Starts from the top down. Frankly we ask for it by electing clowns who install their own clown shows into the civil service. Patronage hirings and appointments to senior level management and the ineptitude runs down hill. The only people who have a hot clue about what is going on in the civil service and should be the management, are most often not politically connected enough to advance their careers. Sad state of affairs. You don't have to look at the civil service for that. Almost any GM, administrator, supervisor or CEO will begin to fill vacancies with people who s/he knows and friends are high on the hire list. Crappy, but reality. -

Hurl, Bass and Leggett would be a whole lot better with a Doug Brown-grade tackle in front of them. -

Doesn't everybody's wife do that? -
Nick, is that you? Are you accusing Moore of being a *****(cat)?
-
A pretty sad state of affairs in the CFL where there are two teams as bad as BC and Sask and we might still scrape into the playoffs.
-
Oh I have no doubts at all that he wants to.... When you look at the QB situations in BC and Montreal, and even the likelihood that Durant is done for, Glenn doesn't look so bad.

This thread stopped being productive long ago . -
I would bet that if we hadn't scooped Nichols when we did (and for essentially nothing in return), he would be in either BC, Montreal or (shudder) Regina by now, and I am equally sure they would have paid more than we did. Nichols may not make us forget Willy, but this can be chalked up as "win" for Walters.

With Hurl seemingly getting better every game (and due in no small part to a better D-line), the pressure to sign Henoc is not as great as before. Its starting to look like we could live without him if we had to- and there is a real possibility we will lose out on him.
