How much influence do you guys think Walters and Miller will have on this decision, whether Etch stays or goes? I'm sure Miller has an opinion and I know he's a "hands on" CEO.

But that's the very point.
Everybody is running around (notice how liberal I am with the word - run) declaring this and that and who should be where, who should get fired, get a haircut, get a screen test etc., that we've lost sight of what went wrong.
Is Etch any more responsible than MB? Than (****) Tracey? Than the players he had?
 
All's I know is that we want a good defence...one that will define us and help us win games.
I don't care who's running (heh) it, as long as it friggin works.

Yes, I'd love to see him used in a more mainstream role on either defence or offence. I dont necessarily see him as an every down kind of player but he could be used more often to take advantage of his speed.

Marve outplayed Willy in the game.  He moved the pocket.  He extended plays.  He threw accurately on the run.  He showed off a quick release to beat the blitz.  He ran the ball.  He threw a short ball for a TD instead of looking for the deep one in the back of the end zone.  All in all, the best we could have hoped for of a rookie QB in those conditions.  I think his play yesterday means we don't have to 'overpay' to re-sign Brohm, but it doesn't mean that Marve is fighting for the #1 spot next year.

Given what we know about O'Shea from his time as a player does anyone here actually think that he's not the most pissed off guy out there about how the season ended? That dude was super competitive and I guarantee he is not happy with the way the season ended.

I can't go back to the game film but I think that Willy rolled out and moved the pocket earlier in the season and had more success vs the last half of the season where he seems to be sticking in the pocket. I assume this has to fall on Bellefuille.
Comparing willy to Reilly is not the best comparison as their games are so different. Reilly makes plays because of his legs. Willy's game is more of a pocket passer.

Take the best O lineman available at #2 who will most likely be in the CFL this year.  It's our biggest need.  Our NI talent isn't at a level where we can take the best player. regardless of the position he plays.

Consider this: according to the Bomber depth charts, this team is 6-2 with Neufeld starting and 0-8 when he doesn't start. I think his was the most critical injury we suffered this year.
 
We've used six different players in Neufeld's RG spot since he got hurt: Goosen, Swiston, Jones, Knapp, Hinse, and Howard.  No one has stuck in that position.
 
Neufeld is one of our most important OL and has been impossible to replace.  We've gotta be patient with him.  We have no alternative.

Thought it was their best game in the last couple of months.   Provided much better pass protection and opened up a few holes for the ground game.  
 
Was really impressed with Jace Daniels and thought Gossen showed well too.
