He had Matt Nichols as his starting QB and his best receiver was Darvin Adam’s. No disrespect to either of those guys but big difference. We played in a lot of closer games where we needed the 3 points and we left a lot of points on the board as it was settling for 3 instead of 7 in the redzone. Something we don’t often do anymore.

Maybe the most accurate, thought provoking thing I've read on here today. Maybe that's why I read it 6 x over

Mods please leave his post as is so people can lol at my joke

Yeah, Bluto’s no troll. Guy knows his football.

Also he's not wrong. The argos should have beat us early in the season. They have had our number ( as much as you can have ones number against a dominate bomber team ) for the last couple of years. We played poorly and we lost to an Argo team that's given us a hard time

The Oshea getting schooled is kind of a stretch though

Not sure how I feel about 300 in year two (but if cap goes up then it's not a big deal) but taking less because he just wanted to be in Winnipeg just fills my heart. **** every team that isn't us.

Well about 4 hours ago I would have said this was an over pay. But it's hard not to be excited about it now, especially with a damn good roster already in place

Wait a minute.  This morning I read everyone on here saying that it was stupid for a GM to grossly overpay for an American receiver.  This afternoon it’s the complete opposite.  Lol.   And here I thought Riders fans were ridiculous.

So the Bombers have 2 players signed for about $900K?  Lol , yeah that’ll work out well.

Do we know what the cost is?  Over pay or not it's still kind of exciting as a fan lol

I’ve said multiple times that I’ve never seen Harris put together multiple good outings consecutively.

He’s efficient, and likely is the best option available, I definitely prefer him over Dane Evans.

But as most have said, unless the OLine is improved, it doesn’t matter.

I guess the riders need to try and save some face for them this season to generate some cash. That being said, Harris has never been capable of winning anything. If I were a die hard of that team (puke) I can't say for certain, but I think id rather just roll with a rough season and hopefully develop for the future

Schoen like I said....was behind the 8-Ball in a few different areas...which is too bad, and its the meat grinder political world BS that is the NFL....That being said too, he may be one those freak guys who just excel and become all world due to the waggle....it's a real thing and sometimes is just that lil tweak some guys need to go from good...to great...and NFL scouts surely have dissected the 24 man tape and went over every big play and analyzed it

The waggle is a good point And something I never considered. Stegall would be a good example of that

Keep in mind he's been there before. They know who he is.

If they look on tape and see the same guy, why bring him back?

Yeah fair enough but he wouldn't stand out before his time in the CFL. What he accomplished in the CFL was nothing short of amazing. A lot of guys with loads of potential on paper but can't get it done when the lights come on

He's the complete opposite. I guess that's why I'm no scout lol. The fact that he absolutely dominated pro ball in Canada --- and the talent is here. Is extremely impressive for me. Some guys just know how to contribute. He's one of them

and not 27 yr old receivers...who was already passed on....our gain, and he can forge a nice career up here and make more than decent money doing so...he barring injury has a good solid 5...6 yrs in him here and being a main fixture

Mind boggling the politics in the NFL. Can't believe a team won't even give him a contract/ try out.

He lit the league on fire, pro football. Can't even get a sniff. I feel for him

I'm guessing Brady thought teams were going to line up and throw money at him and he has found out that nobody wants the qb who played and was not very good this past season

Or maybe he's got a 10 year 375 million dollar deal with fox waiting for him
