I like that DR. CFL is sharing his inside info.  I can choose wether to believe it or not.  If he/she doesn't share the inside info because the can't or wont share the source  we are worse off.. 
 
Chalk it up as a rumour, and if you don't believe it, cool. Ignore it.

What took u so long? What purpose would it serve for me to make either of those things up? You are right...none. You can think what you like. I deal in facts and what would you take has proof that would satisfy you? Name the people that were involved in these conversations with both Walby and Worman? Sorry I can't and won't throw them under the bus. So again believe what you like.

Why should he have to prove anything to you?  Who are you?  I believe him.

The other site died for me when the site design changed quickly for the worse. The color scheme here is very easy on the eyes and doesn't make me angry when browsing.
As the the mods moderating, I don't notice it at all, which means it's being done properly.

The ones who claim others are ignorant are even more ignorant and close minded.... Its like the inception of ignorance lol!

I agree with same sex marriage and gay (lesbian, transgendered etc) rights.  But i don't see anything wrong with the tweet.. Maybe he should not have said anything at all, but really he didnt say anything derogatory or slanderous or try 'to create/spread hatred.
 
His faith doesn't allow for same sex marriage.  Believes in adam and eve and not adam and adam.  Cool.  he is welcome to his opinion and he wasn't attacking the dude.. Just doesn't agree in his life choices.   If he was saying he doesn't believe he should have been drafted, then thats a different issue.
 
The issue i have with religious people using the bible to denounce same sex marriage is that these same people believe God has a set path and uses divine intervention to cause all sorts of things.  Children, who were baptized in their own church come out later as being gay.. Now.. see... if god made these people the way they are and has this plan for them, and could stop and change their sexuality, then why hasn't he (god)?
 
People are blinded by their religion and look to it or hide behind it when things make them uncomfortable.  Do i like watching two guys make out? no.. It kind of grossed me out .. But the thing is, that's MY Issue/ I need to deal with, not them and they should be free to be whoever they are.. that's the whole point of living in a free country where you are protected from being prosecuted.

I don't even care that the government subsidizes pro sports teams (they subsidize damn near every other industry, many times with no mechanism to recover the subsidy).  I care that they try to lie about it, and that some people just accept it.  I'd have no problem with the government saying we're going to finance $200 million to build a stadium, without the illusion of the Bombers making any significant payments on that debt.

The rankings are meaningless.
If Bob Wylie and the coaching staff think Goossen can come in and start for us in year one, then he is worth the second overall pick. That's really all there is to it. That's why they brought him in for a workout instead of just searching "scouting bureau rankings" on Google.

This is what i like to read in newspaper articles.. Reporting.. Not a columnist piece with all the writers opinions being stated as fact.. The facts the reporter is reporting are actually facts.

Well any starting QB is a stop Gap until the next QB out plays the current starter.   With glen being 34 yrs old,  he could be our starter for 4 or 5 more years if someone doesn't out play him.. And if none of our younger QBs can out play him, then they shouldn't really be starting.. I get that QBs will grow quicker with more reps but all the reps in the world are not going to help if they just don't have it in them to be bonafide CFL starters.
 
We should be going after the best QBs available.. Just like Ottawa did.  If the Bombers think Willy, Hall, Broughm are better then Glenn, then that is their prerogative.  But if they are wrong and Our Qbs **** the bed, then the Bombers are going to be in a world of hurt as the Fan base is already tired of the same old **** and fan support has been waning.  

Better to trade a fair price for Glenn now than to wait until we are 0-4 and have to pay a king's ransom.  IMO.  I'd be willing to part with, say, a third round pick and Johnny Sears, if that was enough to get the deal done today.

Right now we have no safety net.. I would think that we would all know by now that having a safety net is a good idea. 
 
If willy fails, then its on Hall / Broughm?  and if they fail? we write off the season mid august like last year, and say things will be better next year.
 
5th season since Berry was fired and Glenn was Cut..   And we are still trying to do the same thing?  I like to think this management team knows what they are doing.. but i thought that about the last management team, and the one before that.
 
Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.. If you take that approach you bring in Glenn if you can incase things go really bad.  If things go well you have a vet Backup QB.

So Calgary goes and gives the league a successful example of elevating a young starter with upside, and teaming him with an experienced, good-but-not-great backup... and TBurgess from the confines of his cozy British Columbia abode thinks that it is laughable to suggest that might work in Winnipeg?
 
Calgary's been arguably the most successful team in the CFL since signing Kevin Glenn as its experienced, good-but-not-great, backup quarterback.  Why wouldn't we try it, if the price were right?

And if Willy stinks it up and goes 0-6 you don't think there still will be controversy? I'd rather our insurance be a proven CFL vet which worked wonders with Calgary the last two seasons.

I for one will not get all giddy and excited about something Lawless writes.  The guy is a clown & will turn on anyone in a heartbeat if they do something he doesn't like.
 
Yay!! Gary Lawless says we're light years ahead of where we were last year!!... I am so far past any BS imagined optimism!!  Truth is that we have 3 rookies running the team in the 3 most important off field positions!!  Which = no optimism earned what so ever until they show us where it matters most!!  ON THE FIELD!!!
 
Until then...we have little to be optimistic about.

I wanted Burris here badly, but Ottawa did what they felt they needed to do.  They acquired two of the three best available qbs available as soon as they were available.   Glen?  He signed the contract he did and he has to live up to it.  That's pro sports.  Does anyone fault mack for signing Jyles and then pierce when he became available even tho Jyles looked upset at the press conference?  
 
Management will do what they think is best for the team and onto fault getting 2 very good qbs to start the franchise off.  One only has to look at our record for the past 4 years to see how not having a reliably good qb starting each game turns out.

Worried that we can fin a Rb? No. Worried we are going to find a great running back that can run out in the open, up the gut and can block? Yup. RB are easiest to find, but finding great RB isn't easy.
