Dude, the more I read your posts, the more I think you're just a troll.

Logan007 got a reaction from Blueandgold in Watson and Simpson traded? (Rumour Invalidated)
Here's one that someone could post on the other site for Shankmann

I haven't seen enough of Drew Willy to formulate an opinion on how good he is. In the time I've seen him, he looked okay. But he has a very good team around him with a solid OL plenty of weapons so how would he do here?? Trading Muamba to sask for him. Don't know about that as I'm not convinced.

Umm...NO! You don't even know Willy's potential and you want to trade one of our best defensive players for him? Are you out of your mind?
Plus, why would you want any QB right now? Not only is the season over for us, you'd be launching him into a suicide mission with our Oline and potentially getting him hurt. Getting someone good right now is just wasting time unless he's somehow on the open market and all the other GM's just happened to have missed him.
Best to just wait till the offseason, see who our new HC and GM will be (if any changes are made) and start fresh.

Dense? What does it hurt to ask. They wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't turnover every stone. Mack was bad because he didn't talk to GMs. Walters is bad because has asks for things he should know he can't have.
If Ricky Ray was traded, anything is possible. This is silly to criticize Walters for this.

I want to hear what Burke thinks about him first.
But I'd value the Cookie Monster's opinion more.

Logan007 reacted to Mike in Burke
Burke's attitude is the type of attitude that instills a losing culture in a locker room.
He shows no faith in any of his players, he's a horrible motivator and he is no good at maximizing the talent (no matter its shortcomings) he has at his disposal. I mean really, who can possibly have respect for a head coach who throws his entire roster under the bus by saying "I'm doing the best with what I've got?" How can I respect a guy who doesn't even have the stones to go for a win on his HOME FIELD with 30 seconds and a timeout remaining? Burke may not think much of the roster he has to work with and that's his perogative, but a good coach or even a sensible one would find a way to get the most they could out of that talent by motivating them and sticking by his guys even if they didn't necessarily deserve it. Burke, OTOH, seems content to mail it in and not even try.
We were tied with the ball in our possession last night, our team is 2-9 and while I'm not expecting it to spark some kind of miraculous season turnaround, Burke had a golden opportunity to show his offensive guys that he has trust in them. No one would have blamed him for trying and failing, it's not the end of the world. But instead of taking his guys aside and telling them that he felt they could give it a shot, he basically mailed it in, showed them he doesn't trust them enough to do a damn thing and said "**** it."
How do you think our players feel? Tim Burke literally could not trust them for 30 seconds because apparently he thought the most likely result was a turnover. What the hell is that? If that's the attitude he's going to coach with, we may as well forfeit.
It's absolutely embarrassing.
FWIW, I heard a few stories from the Legacy Dinner the other night. Couple conversations with some of our stronger defensive players and apparently it was a good chance to get their honest thoughts instead of the "proper" media replies. I bet you can guess what they think of Tim Burke and his coaching staff. I'll give you a hint. It's the same thing I think of them.

Logan007 reacted to Valderan_CA in Justin Goltz
We see it all the time when our DLine is working well... normally excellent QB's seem to suddenly be unable to hit the wide side of a barn, even on the occasions that they actually have time to throw the ball.
Neither Goltz, nor Hall were expecting to have time to go to their second read, or even finish their first read on any given play.
So even when they did get time, they didn't feel like they could settle themselves and go through their reads, especially the reads opposite of their blind side since they can't see the DL coming in when they do that.
Late reads to the right side of the line are dangerous because fumbles happen when you try to throw late with the blind side DE charging in (and I imagine those hits hurt ALOT)... with our line EVERY SINGLE READ on EVERY SINGLE PLAY felt like it might be a late read because the QB's had no confidence that our OL was going to stop anyone for even a reasonable amount of time.

Logan007 reacted to Floyd in Reilly - Old News
For the record, I will continue to bash Mack and call for Elliott's return.
If 'everyone who knows anything about football' can actually find a quarterback that during even one tiny part of one game looks as good or better than Elliot, I will stop. That might be a while though.

Hall seemed to be trying to thread the needle a lot. And he came close many times. His accuracy and confidence could be a big positive. He needs some starts. Goltz is a waste of a roster spot at this point.

Unless we're going to spend some money on a QB coach, trying out all these newbies is a waste of time. They may as well just grab someone who's proven. You can't expect these young guys to grow without someone teaching them what they're doing right and what they're doing wrong and how to correct their mistakes.

Logan007 reacted to 17to85 in Reilly - Old News
I still don't think Reilly was the big mistake in the offseason qb situation. Does anyone really think he'd be having any more success here than any other qb has had recently? Since Matthews decided to have a sophmore slump some kind of bad and Edwards kept getting older there's no one like Stamps here for him to toss passes up to, he'd still be dealing with a horrendous offensive line, he'd have the same **** playcalling etc etc. The mistake was sticking with Pierce (at the head coaches and offensive coordinators insistence mind you) and dumping the guy who started to show some ability to have success with this offense last season. Choosing Pierce over Elliott was the big mistake of the offseason and that's as much to do with the coaches as the GM. The coaches liked one guy and didn't like the other despite one clearly having more success in the situation than the other. (and we're not talking huge amounts or anything but it's still what it is)
isn't it funny how in the offseason several of us were saying that the decision to stick with Pierce was going to cost a lot of people their jobs?

Said this in the game day chat yesterday .. we have the most raw group of QBs on our roster yet no single person dedicated to coaching up that position .. we want to develop a QB for the future .. surround that person with resources to be successful.

Yes exactly my point. JJ drops that ball way too often and barely gets any yardage. I'm thinking he's waiting for that NFL fair catch rule to come into existence in the CFL or something so he can use that instead of running.

One that JJ sucks at doing yet still does.

Blows my mind that they won't let Washington return punts, especially when Jovon doesn't exactly scream ball security either.

I actually like the jersey to be flowing around the midsection area. It makes for a much grander effect when I twirl upon entering a room.
