Classic Osh....
I'm impressed they disclosed "neck" rather then simply "upper body"

Not sure if this has been talked about... But did anyone else hate the call by Richie Hall to blitz everyone when the Elks were still in their own end? We have all of the momentum. We seemingly have Tre Ford figured out. And then you call something risky like that? Bleh. Got them to 29 points
I'm with you. Houston's execution was poor but the call was boneheaded.

Who do we recruit to be third string QB if Zach is out for a game or more? I don't think we have anyone on the PR? Maybe the other training camp quarterback comes back?

Brown is already leagues ahead of Streveler as a passer. Streveler just has that unique running skill with some passing savvy.
You called it. I contemplated saying he was better than Streveler as a passer but didn't want to be premature. But today's performance demonstrates that his potential is already reality. His composure in the pocket and on scrambles is unreal

It's incredible how well Buck and crew have developed Brown since his shaky first reps at the end of 2021. Since game 1 of 2022 when he came on for one set of downs and drove us into range he's looked like he's the real deal

Wow, Dru Brown! It reminds me of that fateful night when another Drew (Bledsoe) got hurt and a youngster named Tom Brady stepped in and the rest is history …
Nah, just kidding, but good on the kid (Brown) … you’re good 😊
He's the best Bomber backup QB since... Zach Collaros was temporarily the backup in 2019

And that's why you come up to catch the ball. Lose 10 yards there.
Yeah even if he knocked it out of bounds

Brown is a stud, I’ve said it for ages. That was an excellent drive.
I love Streveler as much as any Bomber fan but Brown has got so much more potential as a passer in my view.

First guy also pulled him down by his nameplate which is a horsecollar.
I thought so too. Horsecollar caused the initial tackle and then the piling on. That was RTP in two ways

That looked like a horsecollar to me, but also what is ZC thinking throwing that ball? I really hope he's okay

The Bombers believing in and taking a chance on Collaros should go down as one of the best moves made in the CFL in recent history.
I was just reading back to recall what we traded for him and saw that the deal was finalized 1 minute before the trade deadline: https://www.sportsnet.ca/football/cfl/argonauts-trade-quarterback-zach-collaros-blue-bombers/
But that trade cost us Theren Churchill and Dylen Griffin. At least we got Marc Liegghio out of it to make the deal worthwhile 😆

bye....speaking of which @DTonOB have you asked, or can you ask Osh why he is the only coach not utilizing the Nationalized player when it would obviously benefit us in more ways than one...and as the coach...is it not his job to put the best team out there and refuses to do so?....Inquiring minds want to know
Is the Coach's Show still a thing? Perhaps someone could ask on there about the roster management issue

More chance for Bennett to look over the shoulder of the lineman carrying him downfield and yell to his teammates where the ball is headed.
For what it's worth, it was nice to see Bennett make a play yesterday. I believe the play just before Lawson's interception he kept contain on the C gap and had a tackle for a loss. Was nice to see some life from him.
But I fully concur that I wish we had Fox in the lineup. Walker is versatile enough to play DE (and did in some fronts with WJ inside) and it would just give us so much more in terms of options to have that 7th lineman.

Brady-Running like a bison downhill with his ass on fire in the 2nd half.
Love this simile but given that Brady is a UND Fighting Hawk product rather than their arch rival NDSU Bison, perhaps "Flying like a Fighting Hawk" would be more to his liking 😅

3 stars...
- Brady
- Lawler
- WalkerHHs. Zach, Demski, Lawson
Awe award to my PVR for messing up the World Cup recording.
What will keep me up at night... Did Schoen and Lawson get injured?

Was it Chris Matthews that we effectively replaced with Lawler in 2019? What a great move!

Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news

Correcting bullets
A. How is commenting on a woman's appearance on topic for "Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news"
B. Why do you think it's reasonable for Taylor Lavonne to have her appearance commented upon by a random stranger on a public forum that is clearly not intended to be about her appearance?
C. Is finding a woman attractive required to have the thought process of a "normal male" in your view? If you think that's true, take a minute to think about what that says about you.
