I'm at my very first practice (been wanting to go since the Canad Inns days). I'll update with what I see.
- In the early practice period, Brady O was in at RB and catching passes out of the backfield.
- Agudosi appears to be in at boundary WR, as expected.
- Grant is back and doing agility drills with the receivers
Updates:
- Bighill is back out there with the first team D
- Schoen has made some great catches with the first team O

Yeah was thinking more defensively and Canadian, but you're right. Keep finding DB's too. DL/LB are kind of a dead zone though.
Wilcots looked good last year in his game action, if I recall, before we traded him for Darby. Would be nice to have him around.

When has Brown stood out in a game & made a statement with his play saying that "I'm The Next One?"
His series in Game 1 last year when Collaros came out really impressed me. So composed coming in cold and leading us to the win.

I hope they get the American backs more reps. Augustine is what he is, yeah some reps to get into game shape but don't run him half the game.
Illegal punt by Liegghio actually.
Why was it an illegal punt if it was between the 20 and the goal line? Rule change this year?

I saw this in the Free Press online:
Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros is absent from training camp and will miss the next couple days owing to personal reasons, the CFL club announced Friday.
No other details were provided about the absence. Collaros had been participating in all training camp sessions prior to missing Friday.
Head coach Mike O'Shea will provide an update after practice.
Hoping everything is okay for Collaros and family.

The more I look back on the game, the more I think we were lucky it was so close. We never really felt in it.
As I reflect on it, I realize we got some incredible breaks last year in Hamilton to overcome our mistakes. The breaks didn't go our way this year.

I didn't mind the Prukop stuff as part of the run game, but there's no way I'm letting that guy throw a pass let alone 2 in this game. He's not Streveler.
We did need him for the run game though to make the Argos actually defend the edge.
We just haven't gameplanned the Argos well in years. They put a bunch of big DB's out there and challenge QB's to try to find gaps downfield with a nice pass rush too. We just keep running the same two guys on posts and corners and trying to make it happen.
I agree with what was said above. Give Prukop second and short and maybe a first down on hurry up, but no business being out there for so many first downs. And I don't think we ran any sweeps to the edge with Demski or Bailey tonight. Could those have forced them to defend the edge?

Great game? Not sure he really did anything. Tipped one ball that a QB under pressure (not from him) was throwing away and tipped another ball on Kelly.
Think we need a lot more pass rush at that paycheque. We only got it when we went cover 0 rushing 6 which also exposed the secondary.
That's fair. I said "great game" largely to temper my criticism of him for that offsides play, but I agree with you. Did he have the strip on the MBT fumble or was that Jeffcoat? We missed Hansen and having a rotation at DE.. When Jeffcoat went out, bad times...

The downfall was that Prukop trick play... Brady ran for 11 yards time was grinding down with us having momentum. Why not do another run to Brady or maybe even get Demski involved on a sweep. Where was the short passes to Bailey? That one bomb gave Argos the momentum and the win. The Blue got cocky and it cost them the game.
Also nobody on D made a big play when it was needed. Kelly running for 20 on 2nd and 15 should not have happened.
He badly juked Bighill there. And Willie had a great game but that offside on the previous play ended up proving costly.

For a point-after play, a 10 yard penalty would have meant nothing.
Half the distance to the goal for a 2 point conversion attempt though.

I really don't like the Prukop package on first down.

Collaros throws that far enough it's all TD... Schoen had his guy beat by a country mile
His long throws in the playoffs... have not been long enough

I wonder when / how we hear about Adams' status for the game.

Can't sleep; start a game day thread. Let's do this!
Since early in the season, my five-year-old has been asking "Did they threepeat?" after every game. Tonight, may the answer be yes!

Just got home from the game and haven't caught up on the thread yet. Did Pigrome throw a pass? I don't think so but the CFL.ca stats show him as 1/1 for 10 yards. That seems... off.
BLM seemed late or long on any throw where the receiver had us beat and then Holm / Houston had a step to recover
