  1. I know someone who takes the train from Regina for all the Bomber games from Regina. You too should hook up!
  2. I think Burke is better then Greg Marshall......but that's about it!
  3. Burke said today that Boltus is now 2nd string.....So if I remember correctly Goltz went second, first, third, first, second, third? Did I miss one?!?
  4. Tbrak is appealing the fine according to many over at RF.com
  5. So how many of these are real injuries and how many are guys just fed up with the season? Seems like they are just giving up and saying they have an injury so they don't have to play. I truly hope this isn't the case but it sure seems that way!
  6. He looks in shape still. I'm sure he could get us 150 yards on Friday!
  7. Likely see Demarco not Pierce.
  8. It's not often NI linemen get cut loose in season .. especially one with the background Reinders has .. definitely worth a look. They did cut him to sign Tyler Holmes that's a huge upgrade for them!! I would like to bring Reinders in if possible.
  9. Ummm yeah that's pretty well what they are saying.... Without starting fights I would like to point out that they do blame one culture specifically in MB and SK that seems to lead to our dead last ranking...
  10. I heard 3 as well but where did you hear it was Reiley?
  11. .........Oh wait no we're not Manitoba ranked dead last in the social well-being catagory... http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/canada-politics/b-c-leads-country-social-well-being-manitoba-223844019.html Pretty sad really!
  12. Sweet. Now we have better odds of making the playoffs with a crossover spot
  13. Smith and Anderson......AKA
  14. Well if they could see into the future maybe. But this incident happened mid August.
  15. Great move. Hopefully after the short practice week he will be ready. With Mainor, West and Muamba sitting out that leaves them only one day of practice before heading to Edmonton hope they are all ready!
  16. So who initiated this trade? When tlaking to Buono on the radio yesterday it seemed that Wally contacted Walters. I'm glad the deal is done but just curious.
  17. After his latest trade for Parenteau I say Walters for GM, HC, CEO, COO and Mayor! In all honesty he is doing lots to try and improve this team in such a short amount of time. Lets hope he can keep it up! I agree with others. Fix the O and QB and he should be a strong consideration for GM.
  18. Every time I saw a close up of greaves or Sorensen at quick glacé it looked like Wally or battle. 80s jerseys playin 80s defence!
  19. I would like to thank Buck for the time he spent here! They weren't pretty and he had to play behind some bad olines but He is a great community guy and has done lots for the city of Winnipeg and its fans. I wish him luck wherever he ends up.
  20. Jeff Bannon said on 1290 last week that if they won the game in these they would look at wearing them for the rest of the season.
  21. One Pierce down one to go
  22. I think Rouse is the best addition by Walters thus far!
  23. Bombers have signed LB/S Aaron Rouse and OL Colt Schulte to the PR. Rouse (6-4, 227, Virginia Tech, DOB: January 8, 1984 in Norfolk, Virginia) was a third round (89th overall) draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in the 2007 NFL Draft and went on to play in 41 career NFL games, including 18 starts, with the Packers and New York Giants. He recorded 109 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and 11 pass knockdowns in his four-year NFL career, with one of his interceptions being returned 99 yards for a touchdown. He also spent two years in the United Football League and picked off three passes for the Virginia Destroyers in the 2011 Championship Game, for which he was named the game’s MVP. In four seasons at Virginia Tech, Rouse never missed a game, recording 217 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, five interceptions, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Schulte (6-6, 296, Missouri Western State, DOB: April 25, 1990 in Bagnell, Missouri) played in 50 games over four years for the Griffons, including 38 starts, splitting time between guard and tackle. As a junior, Schulte helped his team rush for 240 yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry and followed that up by being named second team All-MIAA as a senior when he helped the Griffons break numerous records while covering the quarterback’s blind side. The Blue Bombers have also released import defensive back Joe Sampson and import offensive lineman Aderious Simmons from the practice roster.
  24. I like Goltzs TD celey. It's unique and damn right he should be proud of every TD this team gets. How is it any worse then what Arland Bruce used to do or what Sheets or Geroy do now? I also like it cause it's pissing the Rider fans off
