Going off the cfldb website, this is what it says:

2013-2016 capacity is listed at 33,422.

2017-present capacity is listed at 33,022.

In 2013 in our inaugural game we had 33,500 listed as the attendance. We got there again in that year’s Banjo Bowl. So I regarded that number as a full sellout.

2014 two announced sellouts, both against the Riders. Attendance recorded as 33,234, so that appeared to be the new sellout number.

2015 Banjo Bowl was the only sellout, at 35,156 due to the expanded Grey Cup seating in place. That is the IG Field record for a Bomber game (all-time stadium record is 36,634 for that year’s Grey Cup).

2016 again Banjo Bowl is only announced sellout at 33,234.

2017 despite the supposed reduction in seating capacity by 400, the Banjo Bowl sellout records an attendance of 33,134. Only sellout that year. This exact scenario and numbers are recorded in 2018 and 2019.

2021 Banjo Bowl only sellout at 33,234.

2022 back-to-back sellouts for Rider games, recorded as 33,234.

2023 4 announced sellouts (and counting, hopefully) and they are recorded as 32,344 at the Banjo Bowl and 32,343 at the next 3, despite the official capacity still being listed at 33,022 still. So I guess the official “sellout” mark is now 32,343, having changed this year (not sure what renos were done to reduce capacity). Looks like the 1987 record is safe until 2025 at least.

The fluctuations might be due to having tickets not attached to a seat.

Failing is bit much. He has not gotten the final job done. But he is a hell of a football coach and a couple of breaks go his way he has a ring.

SteakTips Prime Cut of the Week

    ------------------------------------

    Rasheed Bailey

Was deemed expendable in FA and the guy swallows his pride to come back and be with his team and team mates, making less than what he should. The guy blocks his heart out and whenever the ball comes his way he makes plays. Great run and score this week which was not only talent, but all heart. Does not look out of place whenever he is on the field and is one of several reasons why the loss of Schoen is not as impactful as it could be. Bombers are deep when they can look to a guy like that when one of the main weapons goes down.

I will be 90 (hopefully get there) and will be talking about Rasheed Bailey like he was the  reason for every ring during this period.

The self confidence that man has knowing he will be getting paid back 10 fold for the discount he is taking this year and hopefully more is amazing. Pretty sure he knows his payday will come after he is retired.

your opinion...and yeah guys have said that....but who got those guys here in the first place??...And MOS is not the sole architect of the culture here, and how players are treated and hence wanting to stay...Sya hi to Wde and Kyle again....MOS does deserve credit....nobody said otherwise....thats u assuming it and putting words in people mouths...but not all of it....and he's not perfect and could change some things to be even better.....whether you see it or not....I get it....You like him....so does everyone here....but you can also dislike some aspects too...it's ok...doesnt make u a hater...jeezus

and truth be told...if he had to step away from coaching for say some reason this yr...or last....you think we would have fell apart?...doubt it,

This is why it works because it is the same message being relayed from the top to the bottom of the organization.
