Sask is making changes but are they the right moves? The team was 8-2 when Durant went down. Don't you think they might be overreacting by reportedly firing both their coordinators? Any GM can hire and fire guys every year. Does that make him a better GM than one who sticks by his guys? I'm not saying the Bombers are right if they don't make any changes, but the simple act of making changes isn't always the right move.

Furthermore their 9-9 record would have made the playoffs in the West (they swept BC so would have the tiebreaker). As for the last statement, well, I don't really know what that means. I say a team that finishes .500 or better and wins a playoff game while also having a top 3 defence and an all-Canadian OL, is a pretty good team. But I guess your definition differs from mine.

In part, It has to do with opportunities for inner city youth (especially males) throughout the US. So why not baseball? Just as much opportunity for black kids to play baseball as there is for them to play football. Yet the ratios are wildly different. Why? No you can't make that leap in any reliable manner. So your point re: stats is correct. But the thing is, sexual orientation is different then race. You don't have a lot of black people in the NHL because there aren't a lot of black people tuned into it or growing up playing it. Or blacks playing lacrosse. Sexual orientation though is different. If you have a pulse, you could be gay. That's why the barriers are going to go down so fast. Thank you for saying this. Yes, there are more Afro-American people in the NFL than in the general population, but the reason for that can be clearly explained. Not so much for sexual orientation, but some people can't quite seem to grasp that. Explain it then

Except the ending of both was awful. "I've got the higher ground"/"Into exile I must go" were two very good example of how bad a writer Lucas is. Yes you're right, closely followed up by "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The "Yoda vs The Emperor" intermixed with the "Anakin vs Obi-Wan" scenes at the end of Episode 3 is the finest moment of the entire saga IMO. Give me something that rivals that and I'll be happy. Also, no Gungans or Ewoks. Or whatever those things were that George Lucas put into the new Indiana Jones. God I'm glad that man is not involved with the new trilogy.

The so-called "controversy" has been raging for a while now. Pav-haters have been calling for more Mason/Montoya/Hutchinson since day 1. Pav-lovers have been saying he's just fine. They talk about Pav on the radio every day. One win tonight isn't going to change a thing.

I agree, most players probably DO have a problem with it. Doesn't make it right though. Fortunately, society is changing very quickly. This will be a non-issue in 20 years. Right, just like race relations are a non-issue now.
