It has been reported this morning, in Cash Crop Chronicles..... that both the CFL Commissioner and the CFL Head of Officiating have been operating this season, under assumed names. 
Their actual identities have been revealed as Boris Badenov and Natasha.  

You know I knew that Rider fans were fair weather and band wagon fans, but it just bottles the mind to see them reacting like they are this season. Your team sucks and has since day 1 of the season but the only possible explanation is that the league is screwing them over... not the way Jones took a hatchet to the roster? Not the side show like atmosphere he's fostered there with the short rope for players? I mean we saw the same **** here with Mike Kelly and didn't cry conspiracy, we just said yeah Kelly is a clown and he's hurting the team. The Riders are fortunate that they have Durant who is a real good qb otherwise it would be even uglier. 

I gotta admit. I absolutely love the stamps helmets!

Cox, who intercepted the pass that was intended for Dressler, repeatedly referred to the penalty as “a bad call.” That likely will earn him a call from the CFL office.
Asked if the official told him why the flag was thrown, Cox replied: “He couldn’t tell me anything because I knew it (wasn’t a penalty). I didn’t touch (Dressler) after five (yards). He just made a bad call.”
I want to ask mr cox if he still wants to stick to that story...

The other pictures I took get grainier and grainier but they still show Coz's arm pulling down on Dressler and eventually turning him. Of course, this all happens in nano-seconds, but it clearly shows contact..the actual kind, not the no-contact kind that Cox swears never occurred.

If Pederson is an employee of the Riders then he should be subject to a suspension & fine by the CFL. He's accusing the league of a conspiracy & therefore attacking the integrity of the game. He needs to be slapped down & slapped down hard

I'm not sure why anyone is demonizing Chris Jones for losing the game. I've been reading riderfans, and it's pretty clear that Jeffrey Orridge was responsible for the riders losing.

Okay wait... Jones thought the non PI call against Adams was a bad call. He was seen on TSN explaining to the ref why it should have been PI. I guess the ref learned something and decided that the next one was PI... 
How could he be mad that one was clled PI when he also thought the previous one was PI?

Based on my stats, after deep research into the last 4 games, I found they we have exactly 1.0 wins per game.

When you bring Etch aboard midseason to help with your defensive coaching ... and it's not the craziest thing your team does that week ... that is some kind of achievement you've unlocked.

I'm always happy to add Bison players/local guys... being a depth O-lineman is even better... hopefully he works out to be a starter one day...

Exactly.  The absolute best thing I can say about Nichols is that he hasn't turned the ball over.  Other than that he's been bad to average, especially in the past two games.  There have been long stretches in 3 of his 4 starts where getting a first down was a challenge, even with a decent running game and a lot of time to make reads.  Lapo's play calling has a hand in that too.
 
If Willy was afforded the assets Nichols has had in his 4 starts I don't believe he'd be any less productive and there's a good chance he'd be more productive.  To me it's just a matter of time until this is Willy's team again, ride the hot hand and keep them both as a tandem.

I kinda want to get up 20+ pts in a game and have Davis take some snaps and see what he looks like in a game. Hopefully we are up 78-0 at the half on LDC and we can see him in there

Hopefully Harris rolls for 200 all purpose against them next week.

when I saw it I figured that Loffler went at Carter purely because the defence knew all they had to do was get Carter angry and he'd be useless the rest of the game, so when Loffler saw Carter had the ball and was going out of bounds it was the perfect opportunity to pop him and presto, Carter pretty much disappeared after that.

I deleted it off my PVR already but if you have the Riders/Esks game before it starts they are still talking about the Bomber game. They showed a replay of the ball right between Nicholl's legs back to Kolhert. Was an angle from behind the offense so showed it well. At least I think that's where I saw the replay. My jaw dropped when I saw how well they pulled it off.

I remember reading, at the beginning of the season, several Rider fans were heavily mocking us  for signing and paying a kicker such a hefty contract.
And now I chuckle. What a friggin great signing. 
Justin Medlock kicked 6 field goals last night...pushing his consecutive streak to 20 on the year. From 39, 47, 13, 20, 40 and 36
Easy-peasy.
What that shows is 18 points on the night. What it doesn't show is the importance attached to making each and every one of those FGs at a time when the Bombers had to get points for their fine efforts.
Justin Medlock was a big reason why the Bombers won the game last night. More importantly, he was a reason why we didn't lose last night.
 

What do you mean act? That shove by Bowman could have broken an egg, it was way worse than a push, it would actually have made Henry Burris proud. Big, bad Travis Bond being man-handled by John Bowman..aka the pusher. Hilarious call by that ref. Tremendous over-reaction by Bowman.
 

I'd rather Loffler play on the edge like that and take those 15 yards every once in a while.

Seems to me that the BB are much better at reacting to what the other teams are doing....they came out in the 2nd half and almost shut them down completely in their building. Great job by DC and our OC too really.

4. Best Performance in a Supporting Role
Travis Bond - His performance as a diving Cristiano Ronaldo against John Bowman to gain the first of two penalties was beautiful. By extension, it may even result in Bowman getting fined by the league for referee criticism...Take a bow Travis.

Time to reward the fans and turn the numbers around in their own house.
