Players get a big enough bump getting paid in US funds living in Canada for 6 months out of the year
-
RT just got a little more interesting, can you sign Gray and can he play there with Eli or Dobson at LG or do you try to find a vet with RT experience, or do you bring in few Americans and let them battle it out.

And Sask got Thurman, Hardrick, and Ouelette for that.
I truly want Sheed to get more opportunity and money - but man would I hate seeing him somewhere else.
I think he really likes it here bleeds Blue and Gold and even a bump of 5-10k would bring him back, at least I hope so

Why wouldn't you want to play here, great coaches and management, a great stadium packed with great fans and playoff monies

yup...Hopefully we can give Bailey a lil bump and keep him in the fold...deserves it and is the glue guy...Lawler..Demski..Schoen...Woli and Bailey again...with BO and now Strev sprinkled in....and being able to hit ground running from game one...whats not to like
Every team needs a guy like Bailey does the dirty work, total team player, wants to be here

Winnipeg Blue Bomber culture wins again, that and a solid paycheck. 2 very important pieces who are solid players and by the sounds of it solid people.

Brady, Dalton, and strevy could've all made a lot more money for the same roles they took but going else where.
Dalton was woli's new bff and room mate. Strevy his old one, and the best man thing at the wedding. They are going to have to figure out a way to have all 3 share a room next year.

Riders saw that the toilet bowl had fewer and fewer turds as the season progressed last year, jammed packed is a distant memory and they need to do something, anything to get more turds into the bowl, Narrator: this isn't it.

Riders are a desperate team and organization, he is nowhere near worth that contract but like I said the dummies are desperate

He still is a good tackle but he decided that it's time to get paid and the Riders gave him what he wanted, can't blame him but he is now dead to me.

We could have had Jesse P for min wage! https://www.nhl.com/penguins/news/penguins-sign-forward-jesse-puljujarvi-to-a-two-year-contract
Not exactly he had signed a PTO with the Pens AHL team and they decided to sign him to an NHL contract

Yes Betts deserves to be a Rider, give him a massive contract so he and the other bums can celebrate while they are getting slapped around game in game out

I really do think that Schoen ends up re signing, Brady on the other hand might be taking the same bus that Harris did .
-
I think Jake is just happy that he can continue to play football for another year and took a very Bomber friendly contract. As a rotational player we could do worse but we need the interior guys to play better this year and get better push up the middle.

Maybe if the league wanted another Canadian team Quebec would be a no brainer if they could find someone to post a 1B Canadian expansion fee, they got the building, fans to draw from and a ready made rivalry with the Habs.

The toughest decision to make is when to call it a career, he fought through the season last year rarely practicing and tried to play as many games as he could. Thankful for what he brought to the Bombers when he was on the field but it was time to move on.
