I'm just happy to see Reaves eat a fist sammich a la Lowry after Evason put him out there late in the game for no good reason. It was priceless when he crumpled to the ice afterward.
He's a plug. The apple sure fell far from that tree.

Bottom line: if TNSE wants the fans to show up, make sure the team you've put together shows up.
Fans don't want to spend expendable income on an inconsistent product. It's that simple.

I can't see the team leaving. With profit sharing, broadcasting revenue, sponsorship, merchandise, etc., the brand remains strong as a small market franchise.
IIRC, the Jets were valued at $650M as of late last year. Complacency in the front office is another discussion (hockey operations) but the franchise from a business standpoint seems pretty stable.

We opted out of our tickets for next season. The group consensus was relief.
Tickets are easy to come by now and the product on the ice has been anything but consistent recently.
"Mired in Mediocrity" would be a better, more honest slogan.

A request for comment from Jordan was not immediately returned.

Thursday’s announcement also represents another diplomatic victory for the Chinese as Gulf Arab states perceive the United States slowly withdrawing from the wider region.
But it remains to be seen how far the reconciliation efforts will progress. The rivalry dates back to the 1979 revolution that toppled Iran’s Western-backed monarchy, and in recent years the two countries have backed rival armed groups and political factions across the region.

It builds on 2021 research by the team, which saw a nanoparticle deliver a protein fragment, known as an epitope, to the liver to alleviate egg allergies in mice. In 2022 the researchers uncovered the epitope connected to peanut allergies.

Karakulov, who was responsible for secure communications, said moral opposition to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and his fear of dying there drove him to speak out, despite the risks to himself and his family. He said he hoped to inspire other Russians to speak out also.
“Our president has become a war criminal,” he said. “It is time to end this war and stop being silent.”

“As new regulations come into effect, anglers will be able to experience a whole new fishing adventure,” said Nesbitt. “It’s exciting to be able to catch species such as northern pike and smallmouth bass during a time that has traditionally been closed. The Manitoba government encourages everyone to explore the province’s world-class fisheries.”
Walleye fishing will be closed starting April 3 this season. The walleye fishing season opens in the Southern fishing division on May 13, except on Lake Winnipeg, which opens one week later on May 20, and in the Northwest and North Central fishing divisions, which will also open May 20. Anglers must not target species during closed times.
Some areas will be closed to all fishing this spring to protect spawning stocks including the Red River between Lockport Dam and Lake Winnipeg, Dauphin Lake and its tributaries, excluding the Vermilion Reservoir, and the Assiniboine River downstream of the Portage Diversion to Provincial Road 240.
New angling licences can be purchased online and at participating vendors starting April 1. Annual licences will be valid starting May 1 and new one-day angling licences will be valid for chosen dates. Fee changes will align with new licence types.
Anglers will now be able to carry angling licences on an electronic device or as a printed copy and must be able to show proof of licensing upon request. All anglers are required to obtain a Manitoba angling licence to fish in the province, unless exempt or fishing within a federal park.
Manitoba seniors, active military members and veterans who reside in Manitoba do not require an angling licence to fish, but must show proof of age, residency and identification.
