I guess one could say .. only 50k in attendance in one of the most desirable locations in Canada at this time of year .. only 50k when they are drawing from almost 2.5 million people a population that's 4x that of Winnipeg .. but one wouldn't do that because there are infinitely better / more important things to ***** about. Winnipeg sold out its Grey Cup. By all accounts the festival and events have been a success and positively received. We're going to have decent weather for what should be a great game .. in front of a packed house. Are we. going to ***** about HOW we got there or simply enjoy the spectacle? I know what one I'll be doing.

If I had the money, I'd absolutely do this every year. An amazing time. Love talking with CFL fans and seeing all the cool jerseys. There's been some cool stuff!!

Only in Winnipeg could there be a negative spin on the game selling out.

There was confusion over jurisdiction right? And didnt Bobby (Or Jackie) demand the body be returned to Washington asap? They just wanted to go home. Not an excuse but when was the last time a President had been assassinated. Dallas PD wanted to investigate it as a local homicide. FBI asserted jurisdiction. I believe its FBI jurisdiction officially now, no? If it happened today, it's a Federal Crime? The body was moved so that changed evidence especially if the autopsy is delayed, I believe. Plus the autopsy in Washington would have been done in secret rather than in a public coroner's office. Story I keep hearing & reading is FBI came into the hospital room after Kennedy died, said they were taking the body & that was it. I must have watched the same documentary cuz that's exactly what i remember watching too and reading for that matter. FBI came in, whispered something in to the coroners ear, next thing you know, OFF TO WASHINGTON.

Hi Bomber fans: I'm going to be driving in from Edmonton tomorrow to go to the big game. I've been looking at resale tickets and using the Bomber virtual venue to get a rough idea of what the view from the seats are like. Are the guard rails on the upper deck an issue at all? They appear to be an obstruction for the first rows of the upper deck. I have to say that might favourite nickname on this site to date is Throw Long Bannatyne. Everybody knows that that's the way it goes...

The new logo reminds me of something that might have been shown on an old balck and white TV. Such exciting drama would have been broadcast 12 hours a day non-stop but that didn't stop us from gathering around the TV to stare at it.

Have to make mention and acknowledgment of Mark Stuart who recently (last game) recorded his 1000th blocked shot in the NHL. 1002 blocked shots! That's a lot of blocks. He's had 5.3 blocks for every 60 minutes (6.1 career) he's played and he hits 10.2 times for every 60 minutes (7.4 career) for games this year. Keep your head up when you face him...
