Yeah, I am very concerned about the bombers brain trust choice of the lineup on Friday night. Not only did they rob the fans but they also rob the team stars for an opportunity to tune up at game speed. Now Thursday night is in jeopardy because the coaches think they can make instant pudding with a whole bunch of linemen and other players who are just not used to playing with each other, even a little bit. Changes take time to adapt but the brain trust is denying that.

I don't mind us keeping DBs we never heard of in preseason. When ppl know a new DBs name well it can sometimes be a bad thing. Hardly heard Nichols name all year last year..no one threw his way.

Did he play in any pre season games. Didn’t hear **** about him. bonds and bridges seem like finds tho. Gemmel also. Adams looks like a stud. So 2 dbs a lb and a DL. Not bad. You have to really set it up and prioritize blitzing to counter specific looks. Show and drop a lot, move guys around, etc. delay blitzing a db from the blind side is about as good as it gets. Sending 1-3 guys on a regular basis especially spread out is awful. Our defensive success came with getting pressure from our front. Creativity is better spent on front alignments twists etc.

Blitzing in general is a bad strategy. Teams on O and QB's are prepared for it generally. Need to be able to get pressure with 4 which was a deficiency last season.
