The dreaded 6 linebacker formation is imminent.

Well, with our offensive woes we'll need a shut down defense to win games. This is one of the pieces to that puzzle.

I like this signing. I thought Wild was our best defensive player last year. Leggett back to safety? Simmons cut or IR'd? Hurl relegated to rotation guy?

Great news on an otherwise depressing day (depressing because we looked like crap again yesterday). Not sure who fits where in the D but it's a nice problem to have!

Ritchie is a very, very good DC & he'll figure it out. Man, I just want a monster defense to punish other teams for laughing at us. It's about the only thing worth hoping for now as the offense is totally lost. I want other teams to be intimidated when they play the Bombers like they are when they play the Esks & Ti Cats.

Muamba seems Edmonton bound.

I've got to admit, maybe its apathy from such a bad season, but this doesn't really make me more excited about the roster. Defense isn't our main issue, and if we're going to keep playing 4-3 fronts then I would imagine Hurl stays there. Most likely Wild takes away snaps from Simmons.

 

We seem to be doing a good job of fortifying a position that's low on the priority list, is basically what I'm saying.

Well that is good news after that dismal shambles yesterday....I don't know where Wild is going to fit in either BUT just seeing him on the field gives me a lift...You just know he'll be punishing opposition people and that in itself is a good thing....Too many times we have looked like 'cream puffs' on d this year..   AND too bad he wasn't in Mont. to lay a few licks on the Als. after their 'dirt' game came to the fore.... We'll even that up down the road..Glad Ian is back in bluengold...
