  • Brady’s always questionable/DNP/Limited. Unless both his legs fell off, he’s playing.

  • Nothing to lose and we can only gain by dressing zach and listing him as gtd. Tbh this team is far beyond roster management to win. We need to play the best game of the last 2 years on all 3 phases an

Yeah..thats the 1 negative of the whole thing. Justification of how we do things...and we got to this point again..and amazingly this time in spite of it.

And I truly wondering if Osh is actually making mtl put all their main prep toward a ZC led offence..and there is no intention of him dressing...and thats actually smart..shocking tho if he did it intentionally haha

I like our quiet approach to the game..and not a lot of talk in media. If we ever had a game where we did the upmost prep..added a wrinkle and came out of the gate on fire and a play to destroy and not play to not lose...especially for the opening quarter..quarter and a half

Have a MTL team thats cocky..hasn't played a meaningful game in a while..and the break and also resting guys in last game will be rusty and likely not running optimally to start...this is it

If we can get up fast and early..and then actually have some answers ready in our back pocket for later in game...I like our odds.

Especially with that yappy cocky mtl team..if we force them to have to press and have to start going outside their norm to catch up..could play right into our hands

I think we are gonna see in the first Q what kind of game itll be. I really don't know what to expect, mtl should slap us around at home. But I see classic red flags and trickiness a foot.

How amazing would it be if we rematched BC in the GC after the way we got into the play offs? It wouldnt be the best game, but it might be the best story for any game possible.

I like your "added a wrinkle" thought. I've watched a lot of Bomber games including all but the exhibition games this year and in a lot of, say 3rd and less than 5, punting situations, I've thought "Does Sheahan have the green light to go depending on his read of the D? or "Geez, Sheahan could have run right up the gut for a first down on that play". It never happened, of course. But, maybe tomorrow? One of several potential special team "wrinkles". It used to be a part of O'Shea's arsenal in the early days. Wishful thinking?

The statement "need to play the best game of the past two years" is beyond a stretch.

Play the game we did in August against these guys and we're good.

Can we/will we? Highly unlikely.... But it's one game and in the CFL I've seen worse teams beat better ones.

Montreal starting slow and rusty while mentally overhyped is a real possibility. Look at how BC took a half to really wake up in the WSF.

Our guys need to be nasty up front and execute from the start. Pile up some points and sow doubt before the Als find any kind of rhythm. Make Alexander mad. Get Maas angry and chirping at the refs.

Fully expect Proulx and co to ref this one. Be ready for bullsh1t calls all day long.

It's not a stretch.

This isn't August, and we arent taking a team by surprise before LD; this isn't a game in Winnipeg; this is the best team in the league at home in the division final. We barely limped into the playoffs with BC pulling its starting roster, and we barely beat Toronto last week.

This is the worst Blue Bombers team going into a playoff game or division final in ages, and it's against the best team since the 21 Bombers. Alexander and that passing game have TORCHED us at every opportunity. 2 games, 700 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INTs, 6 30+ passes, 70% completion rate, 130 QBR; he put up numbers on the year we haven't seen in blue and gold for 20 years.

Last time we played, they held us to 180 yards of offence and 10 points. We got 4 first downs that game. They ran for over 100 yards in that game, and just Snead + Philpot were over 300 yards.

So same as last week with Vallesi?

We will have to have a lot of things go our way to even have a chance to pull this one out. Play pretty close to mistake free, get a handful of turnovers, maybe a kick return, yada, yada, yada. It’s a lot to ask, but hey, why not? Like others have said, I’m just happy we have another game to play and I’ll be watching with a bunch of my buddies. Hopefully we’ll have a lot to cheer about.

Thanks.

This will pair nicely with my IPTV provider's category of every Grey Cup game since 1954

I have heard of miracles...IF they do in fact exist we're sure as hell going to need one tomorrow.....GOBIGBLUE

Well we got one there when the wind basically came from nowhere..switched directions got us the WF..that didnt happen we don't get first that yr...so ya never know..miracles do happen

The most logical outcome is that the Als are rusty and we jump out to a lead in the first half. We come out of the break having made no adjustments and the Als make good ones, and we end up losing. Similar to games vs Edmonton and Toronto earlier this year.

That would be the most appropriate way for the 2026 season to end.

Having said that, I never thought we'd get to a division final game.... So who the **** knows. Anything is possible in this league.

Even better the key is to score more points than them. I’ve missed my calling with this coaching thing.

Legendary performance. Broken tibia iirc, soo tough. Carted off, gets X-rays, comes back to play. Later played with broken ribs in a game. Both cases teams need to save a player from them self, but damned if it isn't impressive.

You think he can read? Lol, last time brady had 20 carries was middle ish of the season last year. Only happened twice last year, and twice the year before it.

I think we are more likely to see dru brown and zach complete 20 passes each than brady getting 20 carries.

We talkin Brady.... We talkin Brady O..... We talkin Brady O led the league in rushing this year.... We talkin Brady O with highest numbers of his career this year ....?

It doesn't matter who plays at QB for the Bombers if the D can stop the Als O, get after Alexander rough him up and make him cry like the little ***** whiner he is.

Your version of going out on a limb is standing on the ground next to the trunk.

You're right. I should have said I think Alexander+Philpott+Snead torch our secondary as they did in both games, which to be truthful is not going out on a limb either. My takes are clearly not STRAIGHT FIRE.

Hey it's one game, all the pressure is on Montreal,THEY ARE EXPECTED TO WIN, we got nothing to lose, just win baby. 😊

Brady was used the same amount this year as he was in past years. He gets 13-14 carries a game every year and this year was no exception.
