Kelly and Stuart at HB is interesting.

kinda odd they resting pretty much all starters. And this desire to force Fredrickson on the squad....he showed what he is...be nice to see a couple different guys get majority of reps

Man that right side WR group....total wagonful of garbage.

Of that group only 1 should be kept on roster, and based on athleticism and ways they can be utilized it should be Cobb

Looking forward to see Mayes and Marks tho and if they get a lot of work...Thicker bodied guys who can work underneath stuff and be a downfield threat, and work well after the catch

I would have liked to see how Elgersma performed with a better supporting cast. Talk about not setting a dude up for success. Yeeesh.

This lineup is definitely set up for competition for those last few roster spots. And then just getting our backup QBs more time.

same im really surprised. i’m hoping it means they thing he and the system are 100% ready to go and they want to keep him healthy.

If we see 1-2 pre season quality games from the offence i’m a be pissed.

Eli getting almost no snaps at c is such a strange move. So is going back to ellsbury.

only 2 qbs on the ar is really risky. Should’ve brought in a guy.

Maybe if a QB gets knicked they give TJ Davis some snaps...he was a QB and all

I not liking this way we went again with alot of key guys getting zero work in pre-season...didn't bode well when we did it before and then sustained some injuries due to it

Also would have been nice...and beneficial for what likely is the starting oline group of Bryant/Wallace/Eli/Neuf and Broxton a few series together with live bullets flying...

We at home...no limit to roster...No reason ZC...The oline...BO and who we think are the starting receivers get a series...even a series with each backup QB

ZC had 1 series...threw to 1 guy....like cmon man

If Elgersma is able to make chicken salad out of these chicken feathers (ok, not all thus), he ought to be the starter over Collaros.

unless we see squad 3-4 and lower I think it’s gonna be an awful slog for the qbs the whole game.

Really diminishes the value of reps when 90% of that roster won’t see the pr or ar.

It’s strange too, we didn’t have reps for the other 2 qbs but zach took like two drives the whole of pre season? could’ve kept thorne and given him time with ease

I don't think the team was limiting anything, Thorne walked away before he even knew what opportunity might be there for him.

Thorne quit. He wasn't cut for lack of available time. Who says we didn't have reps?

They have done this in the past.... with subpar results.

My opinion is they just want to focus on the players that might still make an impact,rather than get everyone some more game action.

I think he has a decent group of ol in front of him but the receiver group has a lot to prove.

The other piece to this is taking reps with the same guys.

Yeah it would be nice to give him a platter of CFL all-stars as a surrounding cast, but at least if it's the same guys playing the whole game and working together for the 2-3 practices leading up to the game you get a real look at a QB.

The game in Sask was brutal with guys playing a couple series, going out for half the game, coming back in etc.
