The cynic in me says these interviews are just formalities and Hogan has already been verbally guaranteed his OC job back.

You don’t interview guys for a position if it’s not open.

what’s up with Toronto tho.

Would love to see Justin Hardy here.  Dude is a legit #1, makes plays all over the field, has had three straight 1000 yard years.

His 2023 season had Terrance Edwards energy ... he hit 1k with rookie Dustin Crum, bad Nick Arbuckle, brokedown Jeremiah Masoli and Tyree Adams as his QBs.

A bit long in the tooth though.

Why would any of those guys leave? I don't blame TO for asking...but they were all long shots...maybe MOS wasn't. But the other two? Why would they want to leave?

Why would Corey Mace leave the Riders to go to that dumpster fire in Toronto? It's idiotic for them even to ask yet they did. What an embarrassing phone call that must have been for Pinball...."Please come back. Pleeeeze!!!"

Mace would have to be crazy to leave what he has in Regina. The problem seems to be two or 3 fold. One, is being on the road virtually all season next year & just 6 home games. Then there's the lack of committment to make the team better by MLSE. Then having Pinball & Murphy there & having to answer to them.

If MLSE was serious, they'd fire or reassign Pinball & Murphy. Let someone else come in & have total control of football operations. Murphy is a ****** & seems that a lot of CFL people don't like him which is why he isn't a CFL GM by now.

Murphy had a fistfight with Hamilton fans a few years back & was indefinitely suspended. Then after Murphy returned to the Argos, he dismissed the sexual harrassment by Kelly.  Murphy even blamed the woman involved for making it all public & "opening up a can of worms" for Kelly & the Argos. Pinball knew about the sxexual harrassment as well & did nothing. Both should have been fired. Pinball & Murphy's involvement in the day to day operations is really interfering in the hiring of a new GM/HC. To the point the Argos will hire someone so low on the totem pole that he will grind the Argos into the ground.

Apparently Dinwiddie wanted Murphy gone & the Argo's said no so he left.  I can't imagine sticking with a known piece of s**t like that to the detriment of your franchise - luckily for MLSE, nobody in Toronto will notice.

Dinwiddie took his two Grey Cup rings to Ottawa, where he will act as head coach and general manager of the Redblacks. He didn’t necessarily want the GM title in Toronto, but he did want more control over personnel. And he wanted John Murphy out as player personnel chief. The Argos said no to that and it played a significant role in Dinwiddie heading to Ottawa.

"This one game, against Hamilton...who were the GC favorites at the time...I had that Offence clicking like a well oiled machine"

It's too bad that Hogan just didn't take this game tape, press play, and tell his players while pointing at it 'do that i'll be in my office' to prep for the next games.
