Is this ever a guy we should take a run at? I really like Pokey as a receiver but not sure he's a 1A Superstar guy... Would you ever take a run at Hatcher as your #1 and then have Pokey and Demski as 2/3?

Why would any of those guys leave? I don't blame TO for asking...but they were all long shots...maybe MOS wasn't. But the other two? Why would they want to leave?

Why would Corey Mace leave the Riders to go to that dumpster fire in Toronto? It's idiotic for them even to ask yet they did. What an embarrassing phone call that must have been for Pinball...."Please come back. Pleeeeze!!!"

Mace would have to be crazy to leave what he has in Regina. The problem seems to be two or 3 fold. One, is being on the road virtually all season next year & just 6 home games. Then there's the lack of committment to make the team better by MLSE. Then having Pinball & Murphy there & having to answer to them.

If MLSE was serious, they'd fire or reassign Pinball & Murphy. Let someone else come in & have total control of football operations. Murphy is a ****** & seems that a lot of CFL people don't like him which is why he isn't a CFL GM by now.

Murphy had a fistfight with Hamilton fans a few years back & was indefinitely suspended. Then after Murphy returned to the Argos, he dismissed the sexual harrassment by Kelly.  Murphy even blamed the woman involved for making it all public & "opening up a can of worms" for Kelly & the Argos. Pinball knew about the sxexual harrassment as well & did nothing. Both should have been fired. Pinball & Murphy's involvement in the day to day operations is really interfering in the hiring of a new GM/HC. To the point the Argos will hire someone so low on the totem pole that he will grind the Argos into the ground.

Apparently Dinwiddie wanted Murphy gone & the Argo's said no so he left.  I can't imagine sticking with a known piece of s**t like that to the detriment of your franchise - luckily for MLSE, nobody in Toronto will notice.

I’m not sure I’d have given him gm and head coach duties. This could blow up in ottawas face pretty quickly. Great coach but unknown gm. Sometimes wearing both hats backfires. Seems like in the cfl when a guy is both coach and gm, it fails. Chris Jones  comes to mind in the recent era. Now if we go back 20 years it’s different but it’s not 20 years ago.

So Harvard Media, which owns several media outlets in Sask and AB (including Riders broadcast partner 620 CKRM) has purchased 3 Down Nation. Not sure exactly what this means, but the press release talking about how well respected 3DNs writers are made me LOL...

Yeah I rag on them as much as anybody but they do a better job of covering the CFL than the "real" media.  They are great for news but their opinion pieces are not usually worth reading.

There isn't a lot of CFL opinion that's worth reading. Tait is good, although only for one team. Costabile on cfl.ca is decent, but the rest of that site is slim pickings. The only other writer who comes to mind is Zurkowsky in Montreal.

Man. Hutchings on the DL. Demski and Brady. Emelius (why not 3 cdn starting receivers with Pokey and another dude, ideally rookie I think there or sterns. 
 

unfortunately I think lots will be signed b4 “FA Frenzy” lol. Couple interesting OL tackles also but believe Broxton actually signed a new deal no.

Ryan is insanely biased.

They're just fans with a platform... Dunk has connections and isn't the worst writer but most of the columns there could be written better by a lot of folks on here.  I'm not sure a single one of them has a degree in journalism or even CreComm...

Some interesting Olineman on that list (Broxton and Allen for example). Emilus, Philpot and AJ Allen are all exciting but likely pipe dreams. Anybody want to name an under the radar target?
