good point, Idk. Personally i would want to use the platform as a launching pad for the changes and show the fans that the team will be dedicated to returning to a better level of quality immediately.

Agreed... But at the same time he's 11-0 as a starter.  So you got to give him some props and let him have his moment.

Just before Alexander knelt, he did the bye bye wave. I get that he's excited. I mean if it was Dru Brown, he's the exact opposite. He'd have smoked a doobie on the sidelines, looked bored & then fell asleep between plays. Compared to Brown, I like that Alexander is excited as his teammates fed off that but for crissakes tone it down...

We saw the same arrogance from Bo Levi when he was a rookie starter with the Stamps. He thought the gravy train would go on forever as well. Then he ssuffered a couple of back to back GC losses to inferior teams. Then came the arm & shoulder injuries. Finally being told by Dave Dickenson that he was no longer wanted & was replaced by an inferior Jake Maier. As I said, football has away of humbling these guys the longer they play. The same thing will happen to Alexander at some point.

Really shitty finish. Gonna take me awhile to get over this. Also, it will be a herculean performance to not die of alcohol poisoning during GC. Our only hope is Coach Buck getting through and keeping the Gappers out. It's "something" at least....

I'd be surprised if the Bombers move on from O'Shea or Walters.  In the last 6 seasons, they have made the playoffs each year, they were Grey Cup Finalists 5 times and Champions twice.  They finished with a winning record this year.  The Bombers could and likely would do a lot worse by replacing these guys.

They have stayed loyal to some long time vets, some for maybe too long, and their play has clearly dropped off.  I'm not sure if they should move on from Collaros, but he is not the player he was a few years ago.  Jefferson is not a dominant defensive player anymore.  Neufeld and Bryant aren't what they were.  They'll add some free agents, but it is in the new recruits that sets a team up for success.

I'm generally supportive of them back. The posters on here are right though. Osh has an unwillingness to change and maybe it's best for a change in leadership

I just shrugged my shoulders as what happened wasn't unexpected. I have some hope that next year some significant changes will be made so I actually feel optimistic.

Remember when we had the toughest team out there and just beat teams up on the way to wins? That was awesome... this year though just soft soft soft play all around.

unfortunately, I think these changes will only happen if it’s reactionary. If one decides to leave for another job we will make change. 

Otherwise I could all too easily see us running it back with walters mos and zach.

I do think it could be possible that they fix their problems together. but boy would I not bet a year on it. We will know this off season though. if we see them stay and bring back the usual suspects of wj, jake, kyrie, kola etc, it’s hopeless.

The only redeeming things about this loss today are that it may finally trigger the badly needed organizational changes and (most importantly) it means there will no opportunity for the Riders (who are almost certain to win the West) to curb-stomp our team in the biggest game of the year in front of Bomber fans in their home stadium. That has to be worth something.

Thomas and Willie need to be cut immediately on D to have any hope for next year. Kolankowski also. 

There's a lot more but those 3 are huge liabilities that need to go.

You can bring the coach and gm back again, but they need to make significant changes to the roster... I have my doubts that osh can change that aspect because he's been stubborn about fielding the best roster possible his entire time here.

Disagree.  I think there are major changes coming on the roster and honestly have been the past two years too.  They’ve just been league worst at finding Americans who can play and gain trust to get out there out of camp, including free agency.

We’ve changed a coordinators every off-season for 3 years straight.  Rebuilt both sides of the ball with almost no success.  Special teams finally got back to being impactful this season.
 

OL needs total rebuild.  They’ve tried to rebuild receiving corps but massive fail there.  Wilson about the only guy they’ve added in 3 years who’s developed any trust with Zach.
 

People want Collaros head but there’s no real alternative from Day 1 2026.  Start really thinking succession.  Get some actual targets and protection.

Completely agree. It is crazy to me how we made the playoffs with the guys we had in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I'm already kind of looking forward to the Grey Cup Week "rumours" that I'm sure will be swirling about who's going where next year. 

It's only been a short time since th end of the game but I'm coming back around to "Grey Cup Week will be fun no matter what and I'm really looking forward to the parties..."
