They kept 8 guys in to block to try and give collaros time... so he's throwing to only a couple guys blanket covered. We don't have the receivers to beat that kind of coverage if you need everyone to block. 

They have had 1 game all season where they did what they needed to do on O, against Hamilton, and never have tried it again. 

Collaros should have been pulled for his own safety cause they were determined to get the guy killed and he knew it.

I was more pissed about the end of the first half. Under a minute, 3rd and 2. Make le field goal range. Just kick the FG and go into the locker room up. But no they have to give up the ball and 3…again! Have to be better at clock management and in game decisions like that. 

Well. Looks like we made playoffs. Probably the worst 9-9/10-8 team I’ve seen in a while. Hopefully we can retain some of that 2019 magic!

An angle of the Sterns play that shows the Neufeld/Brooks scuffle. They didn't show a replay in the stadium and watching the reddit game thread it didn't sound like they showed it on the broadcast either

I imagine Neufeld picks up another fine for that.

I feel we win 1 playoff game. I’m not sure about 2. Like truly I half expect us to win the cup now cuz even @Noellerhas accepted they suck. And the universe has a funny way of saying hold on not so fast. Perhaps we lose the cup finals to buck or the riders. I like our chances in the east honestly. Experience sometimes matters. We have it. Pressure will be on Montreal likely and then Hamilton. I like our chances more in the east. Bombers should play to not lose but not win next week. Dress a bunch of PR guys.

That is as far as we get a playoff game. The OC and o line cannot call a decent game or play well enough for our receivers to get open. Collaras isn’t what he was two yr ago and Strevler is a joke now, sorry Chris your time is done.

It’s sad that both Zach and Chris are both looking cooked.

Interesting to note. Willie and Jake with zero recorded stats last night. Tony had 6 tackles but only 1 was for a loss. J smith with 3 sp teams tackles 
 

cobb was 4 for 4 catches. Brady 3 for 3.

buddy was holding onto the face mask and rode it for half the play. Both should get max fines. tbh i’d be good if the league suspended for that. Away from the play, petty, crap by both of em.

I can't wait until Demski miraculously "recovers" in time for the playoff game, only to be largely ineffective and exit injured in the first quarter, leaving us short of receivers.

idk about the official stats but I did see wj get one pass knock down on a second and long. 

 1 of 11 games this year jake has had no recorded stats lol. Wj had 4 games in a row this year with out a stat. and this would be 2 in a row. 

I also thought jake was credited with a sack earlier this year. Wj had one big game, but has been dismal much of the year. 

Imagine how good our D could be with out those two

He and his scouts brought in players...Osh sent all packing and ones he kept didnt play immediately...and when finally some get the chance...they better than the hold over crap...imagine...so who knows who else that got the axe over a osh fav/vet could have done better...as some showed real good in camp...but we kept garbage...and well look like garbage...save for a few bright spots...save for BO and Demski all of whom are rookies...again...imagine

Shout out to Sheehan...who is will refer to by name as he has done well once he basically resorted back to being a punter and not the crap that made osh get his lil chub... that being said.. he not good at pinning a kick in corner

Bigger picture it might of done this organization some benefit long term if Edmonton had indeed snuck by us and eliminated us from post season play. This would have dictated/forced what our off season would need to look like in how we need to make some changes to the genetic makeup of this club at all levels.

Now making the playoffs might be a false positive that fakes us into continued complacency with minimal changes.

But if we win it all this year, I take everything back. 🙂

I was literally just saying this to my wife.  If we manage to sneak past the semi's, it'll mask all the issues we've seen and we're in the same boat or worse next year.

Yup...any success regardless how fleeting will just gloss over the real problem..and likely be from BO going off and dragging us there...tho OC numbnutz prob won't use him effectively anyway....or ZC has game or 2 of his life...which now back to back to back is a pipe dream

ZC with his limitations now can prob be successful with a scheme and guys to allow him to play within himself

Strev as well if he had a OC who knew what to do with him...and what players to augment his skillset could be very effective in a support role

Like last game...not that Cobb was bad...prob one our better recievers in the game...but seeing as we didnt have to replace demski with a Canadian...why not activate Echols and see what he brings...and drop Corcoran right off roster...we know he would bring more than Corcoran...he as well can return...and he would garner attention from the defence...but we just continue with our rigid ratio allocation and "how we do it" cause it worked 5 yrs ago...just poor management of assets
