'Can the Ottawa Redblacks' O-Line keep QB Dru Brown in Saturday's game to the end?'

I think their answer may be, yes yes we can.

JT is going to have Dru running for his life! 😂

Kelly for hallet is fine and Parker going on for injured griffin is about the best you can hope for.... but man they gotta stop pretending what they're doing on the DL works.

Agreed...brutally undemanned...and weak

With both Vaval and Lawson Jr as extra import DBs could easily pooched one for a import DT...and really for what use Ayers gets...him too for both Adams and Woods....regardless of what many chime in here to spew otherwise...both would give more than Thomas and Korn...make us better...and hey...maybe even get pressure on the qb

And I think another thing going for their 'we run a coverage gap disciplined D' that seems to give the opposition QB quite a few steamboats to find a receiver is deflecting legitimate attention over to our Offense and their struggles.

You gotta think that if Streveler stinks it up again O'Shea has to atleast give Wilson a shot?? I mean the season is quickly going down the tubes in a Grey Cup hosting year. Out of self preservation alone O'Shea has to try something else?? Maybe?? Please??

I think you're forgetting what Streveler did 6 years ago and how much that helped that team. If he struggles, lets all just think about those games from more than half a decade ago. That will help.

My guess is nope, not MOS's MO if you look at his tenure here. Stat junkies would probably know this, when's the last time MOS put in his 2nd stringer QB because his first stringer QB was struggling?

Gotta be Nichols for Willy? Or was that because Willy got hurt mid game?

My concern, as ever, is Strev and the OL...

I see your "Strev and the OL" with a "lack of talent along the receiving core"

and raise you a "Jason Hogan".

And pat ourselves on the head while thinking those thoughts.

Say all you want about the deteriorating talent on the team but Hogan is completely in over his head as an offensive coordinator.

Jason "I'm learning on the job' Hogan.

He's going to be a great OC for someone else down the road because we trained him and gave him that safe i can mistakes environment. 🙂

I need to know how good the High School offenses Hogan was OC for were.

First of all which high school was it AND really what you're witnessing in our games now, is the same school stuff he employed only at a lower standard

Chase a Grandma in the bedroom?  Why would you? .  God forbid you catch her.

Shouldn't be all that hard, but if you make her run, you risk a broken hip.

Making mistakes have value only if you learn from them and there is scant evidence for Hogan doing that so far.

both lines... it is the absolute downfall of this team...

I believe that switch came between games... though there was a rumour that move came from above... and everyone was stressing that Miller was getting too hands on with the team... maybe he needs to do that again...

They finally put Nichols in during garbage time of a home game against Calgary iirc. They looked better and drove for a TD. Nichols then started the next game in Edmonton.

Nichols replaced Willy in garbage time of the 2016 Calgary game where we dropped to 1-4.  Nichols was the starter in the next game, which we won.  I remember all this well because I think modern Bomber history began that night, since then our record has been way over .500.

Dom Davis lost his QB2 slot to the Fever in the latter parts of 2017 but I think that change came between games too.

Both of Dru Brown's big games in 2023 came after Collaros was knocked out of the game due to injury.

Every week I hope for some significant changes to the Bombers' depth chart and every week I'm disappointed. I look at the D-line and keep seeing two Canadians (only one with some potential) with a backup Canuck (a previous Bomber cut) in the middle and give my head a shake. I realize that there are so many body morphologies but did Thomas ever look like a football player? On the other side of the ball, I see an O-line continually anchored (not in a good way) by Kolankowski and give my head another shake. As for QB, I'm pretty sure that Streveler is not the "answer", however, against the RedBlacks, I'll give him a half to change my mind. I'll be watching (weather calling for rain so I won't feel guilty about not doing yardwork) but I'm not expecting a win.

Yeah, back then O’Shea was likely forced or feared for his job…. Now?  Not at all.  And we rarely see changes due to below the line play.  I’m not even sure he evaluates players that way…. We had a good practice, guys are running around having a good time out there, mistakes are fixable, yada, yada….
