WinnipegGordo Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Probably only 2 practices this week. Not sure sure how severe Ball's injury is. Wilson in for Schoen? rebusrankin and Noeller 2
Noeller Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Curious if Schoen is on crutches. That's my big question going forward. Hoping to get to the one open practice they'd have. rebusrankin 1

rebusrankin Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago So Wilson for Schoen (if injured)? If not, is it Wilson for Mitchell or Wilson for Logan?

Gotta make one post from my banning...wasn't gonna acknowledge the warning but some the dumb posts ...this one in particular was too much He was indeed rushed in early to start yr...said it right outta gate and his play showed he wasn't good yet Reinjured his fresh surgery...came back braced up...huge red flag...should never been brought in again....play showed it as he was seeing ghosts and playing in self preservation mode and really Echols would have offered more with limited time here Landed on it again...hurt...with brace...totally predictable...we won't see him again this yr now...thanks osh And we seen it with him rushed back before from ankle...along with 3 other guys in that Grey cup....yr previous with ZC and his ankle....Biggie...and there were others I know you are a great fan buy u need to take blinders off and remove head from Osh sphincter...just plain stupidity over and over with roster and player use...could have likely ruined Schoens career last night...and for what? Cover ones arse for a weak and depleted lineup? With Nichols bone headed play we still should have been up at that point anyway if not for pathetic offense play calling Or if the HC was alert enough to call a timeout to prevent a too many men penalty or the no end...instead of standing there with his smug but at times clueless look on sideline..inexcusable errors..and lord knows we didnt need to save a timeout for a challenge flag opp...that flag stays glued to his lil shorts more often than not Then going off all defensive on D.Taylor...u signed up for the HC job...deal with the criticism like a pro as you profess how your players should...lead by example...and I see minimal leading by him last few yrs...more coasting and thinking he has the answer...and if not the "room" will find it...and trust me...or don't...but the "room" ain't what a lot u think it is rebusrankin, Piggy 1 and Tracker 3

And who says we have best med staff in the league?? Us? That isnt proof...every team and player says thst about their staff Find me an unbiased quote from anyone credible claiming that one....good luck And from watching game upon game of injured guys forced into action...id have my doubts Logan too...clearly not where he needs to be...zero explosion and cutting ability...was apparent first game...but played again...confirmed yesterday...if he rostered for BB we definitely are blind or stupid...id lean toward both sadly Edited 4 hours ago by Booch Piggy 1 1

I'm also sure we are the only team to suffer from them! 😂 Booch, rebusrankin and Tracker 3
Pete Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Something else that is disturbing is the amount of players that we signed coming off of injuries. Schoen Vaughters Makonzo Hagarty, and now Moore. I get it that they are likely cap freindly but its a high risk that we are now paying for. Edited 3 hours ago by Pete Piggy 1 and JohnnyAbonny 2
Bomberguy Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I like the guy but if Schoen is injured again we replace him with Wilson and move on. His salary could be used in FA next year to bolster both lines or our defensive backfield. Edited 2 hours ago by Bomberguy
Blue28 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Schoen would not keep getting hurt - if the QB would stop throwing passes where the receiver is about to be demolished - nor if the OC was smart - and made plays that actually gave them opportunities to be open... voodoochylde 1
rebusrankin Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Schoen was hurt late in 23, early in 24 and once, possibly twice in 25. Blame the medical staff or blame bad luck but chances are he's never the same player again. Be honest, would you want to pay him $175,000 for next year? Bomberguy and Tracker 2
Mark H. Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I think they need to try Eli at centre and 100% insert an American at one of the guard spots. That's a far greater concern than any issues at receiver. ZC clearly has some good football left in him, but he needs support. The OL that played yesterday, won't stand a chance against the Stamps' pass rush. Piggy 1, Noeller, Tracker and 2 others 1 1 3

If hes hurt again this time, there was very little contact which is scary in and of itself

Sometimes guys just get hurt... I'm not trying to be a jerk but how can you make this claim? There are nine teams in the league each with their own team of MDs, physios, trainers, etc. There is no way that a fan (you, me, all the folks on this board) can know the competence of the personnel on the Bombers "med team", let alone the other eight teams. I don't know if Schoen re-injured the same leg yesterday but I do know from photos circulated here that he was wearing a pretty heavy brace during the practices leading up to the game. Oops, I posted this before reading some of the other comments on this particular post. Edited 1 hour ago by Slimy Sculpin rebusrankin 1

Huh? That’s a receivers roll. They go a get a ball that is thrown to them if it’s possible knowing full well they could take a hit or fall in an awkward position etc. sorry but when 300 pound monsters are on your tail you throw the ball, especially if it’s a guy like Schoen who has proven he can make the circus catches.
