They way Wade miller is, no chance a meeting didn’t happen about the piss poor start last year. What would’ve been involved one can only guess. He isn’t a make threats kinda guy, he would for sure talk about under achieving. And we see a stark change in camp this year. Hasn’t been one like this since maybe first or second mos year.

Smart move is to swap Sterns for Cooley as Sterns did nothing...hasnt done nothing since camp really and Cooley could run that jet sweep and find open spaces for ZC to use as a check down if need be...I'd bring on Cobb as well for BO's spot...Bailey for Korn only....

Osh will obviously be enamored by Bridges picks so he's safe as Thomas now....Ideally I'd move Parker to corner and put Allen at safety to see the results....gotta find the right mix back there...Parker is versatile as a DB so removing him totally prob isnt the smartest move....he did good...couple goofs...but so did several guys....but then again thats how you learn and get integrated too

With all due respect, every thread I read all has Booch vs O'Shea sprinkled in it.

Why would we change? We beat the team favored to win the West pretty easily with our backup QB. 

I will say it again, the last 2-3 spots on our roster are not going to win or lose us games. I don't disagree with those calling them iffy decisions, what i disagree with is those suggesting these decisions over ride the excellent coaching our team has.

BTW, brilliant job by Hogan yesterday. Really nice offence so far and with half time adjustments to boot. Gave Strev a pretty simple plan, one he could execute well...and then let his horses up front open holes.

The Bombers answered the bell yesterday even whipping boys Kyrie and Fatboi really played well.

Wade sets the standard, no doubt about it. Walters and Osh make sure that standard is met. That's the Trinity in a nutshell. For sure Wade had tough conversations last year, for sure he let them fix it too.

Wade has his opinions for sure and shares them but Walters and Osh do what they think is right. So far so good.

I think we go Peterson with either Cooley or Logan if he is ready. The holes our OL was opening we are going to have success no matter who has the rock. It was very impressive seeing Vanterpool 15 yards down field laying secondary blocks.

I get that Osh and the club are intentionally vague when it comes to injury reports to protect individual privacy…Whatever. 

But, why then, does the BB site choose to post the Lions shill’s (Lalji) provisional diagnosis about BO’s condition?

Im guessing that Farhan gets his info from inside sources, but why are the BB endorsing that opinion if they are concerned about player privacy?

Just because it gives you the warm & fuzzies to think the Bomber organization is always a united front. doesn't mean it is. Like any organization there's arguments & disagreements. If these run deep then people get fired or leave. You may be right which is why I said I accepted your explanation but to think that there's no pressure from Wade Miller down to Mike O'Shea to win is also naive. Especially if Miller sees something he doesn't like. He'd make his feelings known as he's the Boss. As in a way too easy training camp resulting in a 2-6 start last season.

2 and 6 I thought was because every receiver got hurt really and Brady was also hurt early. That played a significant role. How is camp too easy when nobody really goes to check it out ever? I mean a few people give their opinion and it’s taken as gospel on here. I’m not sure where this relaxed camp thing came from but I can almost guarantee it was never a thing. Cuz 3 or 4 people right. But unless they at camp every day, they aren’t, they just guessing cuz some people on here think they are wade really. And to each their own but at times it’s a whole lot of just bullshit for the sake of it. There’s always something. Bombers didn’t even really make the playoffs when I first became a fan. We had a long ass grey cup drought even that ended somewhat recently and since its ended we’ve been in every grey cup game since. I mean really. Maybe some perspective is needed.

Yeah. I don’t think Logan’s gonna be in any time soon. Even when he’s healthy he will need to get in game shape atleast.

I mean we aren’t doctors but multiple games seems like a good guess based on rumors of what the injury is (shoulder). The only question is how many is multiple? 2 for sure I’m guessing but prob more like 4 5 or 6 even. 
 

logan makes more sense than Cooley cuz Logan can replace Vaval and you leave the roster as is. He’s more versatile than Cooley. He is a RB and returner. If cooley comes on who does he replace? It’s likely Vaval then who returns kicks and punts? I mean. Brady is a Canadian so it makes more sense to just get Logan the guy they signed in the off season on if he’s healthy cuz he can take Vavals spot and backup at rb. What does Cooley do other than rb? Does he even play teams? Then Cobb likely comes on also. Cuz why would they completely change the week 1 roster ? They won’t.

I mean there was Zach getting 0 playing time in the 2nd preseason game last year.  And it showed early that the offence was not ready.

No one has ever said oshea can't coach. Only complaints have been about subpar roster management and if you think there's no validity to that you have had your head in the sand the whole time. 

Overall dude is still a great coach,  but he could be even better if he didn't have a penchant for wasting roster spots.

Had to think about this for a bit but it really makes the most sense. We have enough DB depth with Griffin and Hallett. We would only have to start playing with the ratio on offense if Peterson gets hurt. Then we have the option of Chris Ike or Logan depending on how the game is going and we can put in Wallace, Eli or Corcaron to manage the ratio.
