From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year....

 

"The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025.

 

The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her.

 

Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network.

 

As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team.

 

“Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.”

 

During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory.

 

TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats.

 

Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.”

 

The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."

Even Toronto has insane fans. They might not have lots but the majority they have are likely quite hardcore fans who partake in the alcohol and with social media now , it’s easy for idiots to make death threats. 

we've had guys on this very forum joking about doing a Tonya Harding to certain bomber players.  I'm like 99.9% confident those are just dumb jokes but it's a world of crazy motherfuckers making lunatic headlines out there and so I'm always a little 👀 when I read that stuff.

I saw the video on X. Those kids knew that Arlovski's handlers wouldn't let him get neat them so they're talking & acting like ****. Id like to have seen Arlovski mess those stupid kids up but then he'd have been charged with child abuse or atytempted murder.

The streamer world with people who 24/7 live stream is such a bizarre world.  It's so much fakery to entice 12 - 15 year old boys into believing it's real and for those kids to donate money to encourage the streamer to continue doing stupid ****.   The stupid viewers actually think that these guys own mansions and luxury sports cars when in reality they are flat broke trying to maintain "the image".  

This broccoli head Jack Doherty is one of and possibly the worst.     He's currently desperate for attention since his 5 minutes are up and he needs to get into altercations to get a few eyes back on him to earn some money.   At some point he will end up pissing off the wrong person and end up dead.   Playing with fire.

I didn't realize that kid I mentioned was Doherty. I agree. He will be killed one day along with his bodyguard.

Look what happened in Detroit with DK Metcalf. I believe that if you buy a ticket & mess with a player on the field as in instigating a conflict then that ticket should give the NFL the right to prosecute or fine someone. We don't know what was said between the two but the fan put on a long blue wig to cover his face. So, whatever he said, it wasn't going to be good. I saw a video after the incident where the fan was screaming but not wearing his wig. A 25000 fine or 3 months in jail for harrassment would do that yahoo good.

I read that a two game suspension that has been mentioned as possible punishment for Metcalf will mess with his guaranteed salary not only this year but whatever length the contract has left. So, how stupid was he to even talk to that nutbar?

Got up this morning, grabbed my phone & what do I see on X? Luke Willson & Bob Irving going at it again. Those 2 DO NOT like each other. But it's funny seeing Bob trying to keep his cool while Willson seems to be losing his mind. Peace on Earth. Goodwill to All Men....
