Schoen looked to be a generational talent at receiver in his first two seasons and he might be done. Just absolutely devastating.

The way they handled the situation with Schoen is a black mark on the whole franchise. Rushing him back for the start of this season, then rushing him back after a month with a known (second-time) torn ACL is inexcusable. Someone needs to legit lose their job for that.

I'm sure Schoen was begging to get back into the game as well, but management should have said, no you're sitting until you're 100%.

Said right from day one...bad signing banking on him being one your guys tis yr.....maybe a late season add being on 6 game all yr and stull rehabbing, but banking on him being the "guy"...just dumb

And....we may have just screwed his career permanently.....what a sad group we have pulling the  strings

We obviously rushed Logan back and tried to get him in as he was so not ready yet...guy is an explosive player...and he had none of that in those 2 games...afyer the first he should have been sat down....but nope

We cut a guy....only to bring him back at DT when he wasn't even needed...again...just pathetic

We watched in real time how 2 Bozo's can effectively kill a dynasty ..one of generational making and almost make the actual couple seasons of Championship play almost irrelevant really...mainly due to incompetence...stubbornness and total lack of vision and ability to sustain....and in pretty short order....the sooner we rid ourselves of them...the better as they show zero signs let alone ability to evolve

12 yrs is a long time...we had a nice lil run...caught a lil lightning in a bottle almost, but man....what a mess...and self inflicted at that

You would think he may have...but O doubt it...A guy knows with that injurywhen you ready...and you wouldnt risk it...and really a team should never listen to the player....I have my doubts tho based on yrs of playing hurt guys....

Even in the Grey Cup...Schoen said he was shocked he was rostered and wasn't even really prepared....Thats all on dear leader sadly....Guys a moron

I’d like to know why the team dr/medical staff expected rehab without surgery to be good enough for Schoen to play again this season. I get rehab alone can work for an average joe, but it seems crazy to trust it for a guy who runs and gets hit for a living.

you cant rehab a torn acl....need to surgically repair it, and who knows if it also cause cartilage damage too

You can rehab and actually play thru/with and mcl one tho...but wasnt the case here...right after the CGY he should have been shut down for yr and scheduled forsurgery...gross incompatnce...malpractice...call it what you want

Miller must or should be seriously considering waxing this group out the door...like when is enough stupidity enough?

Walters. I believe his contract runs out at the end of the season. Just don't re-sign him.

I’m gonna guess he didn’t actually tear his acl against Calgary cuz no way would he play again soon. Not sure he’d be walking honestly even. Like dude should be a pro wrestler cuz that’s crazy tough if he legit played on a torn acl and only reinjured it on the 2 point convert and not when running on the field. How do you even reinjure your torn acl. You really don’t. It’s torn or it isn’t.

Why is it crazy to think a guy could try and play on a torn acl? Especially if it's only a partial tear... players are tough and sometimes stupid about about wanting to be out there at all costs. That's where the medical staff and coaches need to save them from themselves.

The brace ...a don joy or similar acts as an exterior acl...u can play...many guys with partial will play with brace...especially lineman...but u will need surgery...won't heal on its own...mcl u can rehab without...not acl

The way the story reads in the FP is that Schoen made a choice to rehab after the Calgary injury. Personally I would have shut him down after an ACL tear was confirmed, but that might just be 20/20 hindsight on my part.

Player wants to play. No shock there but for his own good someone needed to be the adult in the room and tell him no, focus on next year and don't take unnecessary risks.

This times a million. The player can make a choice but it’s not their *responsibility*, who was the adult in our room who takes on the *responsibility* of telling Schoen he has to shut it down?
