I have on good authority that Demario Houston is in Winnipeg

Is he even allowed in Canada

Why don't we get Nic Marshall to car pool up with him while we at it?...I thought we only brought on high character guys?

And if true typical...recycle old garbage

Wasn’t his charges dropped? Also weren’t you just complaining the bombers didn’t pick up Anthony Bennet or Habba? I’d take a flyer on Houston. I don’t think he’s outstanding or anything but he’s more then serviceable in a pinch and if guys like Kelly and Lemon get a second chance I think he deserves one as well.

In a pinch but bombers had a couple guys in camp who they cut who should get calls before Houston. Dandy was an aggressive player. Hopefully Allen gets on tho. Not sure if he’s best at corner tho.

I’d sign Houston lol I don’t care

I think part of our problem is signing too many these so called character guys...we need more guys with edge and attitude

I just find it funny how when we desperate we can overlook some things

His charges were dropped. Looks like he was falsely accused but he's radioactive still.

Not exactly glowing praise for the OC from Oliveira is it?

Quote

“You guys know that’s my guy — I’ll always stand on the table for him,” said Oliveira of Hogan after Tuesday’s closed-to-the-media practice. “He’s a first year OC (offensive coordinator). There’s going to be growing pains. That’s why he has a staff around him to support him and us, as players, as well. The play that’s being called in that moment we need to all be on the same page and make sure that we execute at a high level.

“I’ve got full confidence in him still. There’s been great glimpses of him as a play-caller, right? And maybe some that aren’t so great but, like I said, there’s going to be ups and downs and we all need to be there to support him and have his back and understand that we’ll be OK. We’ll get through this.”

Ya that was my thought too... First time I've heard the players say anything other than "it's all on us to play better"... It was small, but even a little bit of "everyone, including the coaches, needs to be better..." really stood out to me

It's a fair comment to make... you have the MOP on the team who is a running back and some QBs who seem unable to push the ball down the field yet there have been long stretches in games where you aren't getting him the ball.

Probably doubly frustrating for Brady because I don't think he expected to be rolling near Labour Day with a goose egg in TDs again this year.

The cynic listening to booch fan in me wonders if Brady gets a bonus for TDs scored and they are very aware of this. And want to save money. Cuz this year Is about saving money.

I mean then that’s on them right. Doubt a guy who wants to play pro football would say no but maybe.

Do ppl think guys like Tony Kyrie and guys of that nature, do they have any trade value? Or are you releasing them instead. No need for the Tony’s and Bryant’s for that matter or Jake’s and Kyries if you are rebuilding. Who has value. Who do you keep?  I feel the guys with value are the guys I’d keep. I’d keep Brady. I’d keep Demski. I like what person brings. I like what griffin does. Holm is solid. Nichols is a good vet. You need a few. I mean. Does Willie have value? Vaughters has looked solid but is he required in a rebuild?

rebuild starts with the OL tho. Walters should be bringing in every center available. American or not. We start 9 Canadians. We can go 3 USA OL. Why not both tackles and center.

I dont think we need a complete rebuild. We do need, urgently, to fill spots where we are weak obviously. Bonds spot, maybe safety, unless we can place the right person there. We do have some injuries right now, and poor depth to replace those players. Thomas on the DL, for example becomes further exposed. I dont think our O-Line is that bad, aside form the Center position which may be among the weakest in The CFL. This position as we all know, anchors the line, so that to me is the issue. Since a replacement is not forth coming, the Offensive Coaches must take a look at our beat up QB'S and design an Offense that allows them time to check down or get outside. Zach would be required to scramble more. Its tough. We are missing key receivers this year that hid our deficiencies in Zach's pass attack. Coaches should have seen this coming, but the players and Assistants really bailed O' Shea out the last few years. A couple of receivers would help us. I like many, thought Schoen and Mitchell would've been those guys. The Coaches thought so too. They guessed wrong. The thing is, that's their job. Not ours. I like many fans, watch the players to see who makes plays, and who doesnt. What do the Coaches see that we dont? Are Woods and Allen on the P.Q not as good as our starters? Lets find out. Allen played some Safety before the season started.  This Coaching staff, and Management above are responsible for this, so knowing this is a home Grey Cup, what can be done to fix it, because the other teams in the league are not going to help us out.

Well gotta pay the bills,  some guys maybe felt they took their shot and don't have the capacity to try again. You just never know. They brought back Lawson so that tells me they reached out to cuts before settling on Houston.
