I don't like the oline change since they played so well for game 1. Seriously take Ayers off for Cooley. It seems better to lose a guy who basically plays teams than to mess with the oline. Bailey could take Brady's spot to give you a back up de.

Or Sterns.

Having Sterns out there instead of Corcoran/Cobb isn’t going to make a lick of difference if we aren’t dominating up front.  Dominating, not just trying to survive.  Vanterpool is a significant difference maker.

Sounds like Wallace is in for Nuefeld because Tait said right guard. It would be insane to take away a starting American on the offensive line to save one of many linebacker backups.

If Neufeld is injured and struggling to play, there is zero reason not to send him to the IR so he can properly recover.  His spot will still be there when he's healthy.

I think he errored..I have heard he was at left guard

Neuf was real strong last game...we did a lot of guard switching in that game where they pulled and sealed the edge of the opposite side on a lot of plays...for a dude with an apparent bum knee he was super active

Even though Vpool was great...was a first game and an unknown...Wallace or Eli won't kill us out there...but a guy like Cooley on roster..will definitely help

Tho I still think Cooley for Sterns is a saw off with the bonus that Cooley can be a possible impact running...Sterns isn't gonna be any reason for a win...Cooley could tho

To fill BO spot dress Bailey..and if we did that I'd swap out Korn or Thomas for Cobb as receiver depth...one with experience plus a backup return guy for Vaval...especially if a DB goes down and he needs to go in...you'd prefer he not returning as well and risk getting popped there then u are scrambling...its all about roster coverage..Curious as what we do

I love ayers, but I agree that would be better for the team. Id rather take vaval off and have cobb return then mess with the OL. And I really like vaval too.

Oh, I like Ayers, its just to me out of the 4 DIs he is the logical one to take off as he is the biggest luxury.

Agree, especially if we aren't using him on D. Vaval is basically on to play teams, we use a DI on sergio, and another on ayers. 3 DIs on guys who only play teams is nuts, and we can't afford that with the injuries we have.

with the Canadian LB's in Shay...Smith....Gauthier...Novack and versatility of Griffin I'd prefer we roster the best outta Ayers/J.Jones/Wilson/T.Jones and ise that extra DI on either Woods or Person

Yeah, those two gotta actually play to grow. And they are worth developing. Lber has one of the lowest barriers for entry (I dont count sam as a lber) Ayers/Jones would be wicked.

Yup...don't develop in practice.

Those 2 would be a deadly combo..

He is, but they also likely hold their own with Wallace at LG, either way they trounce the Lions.  Not a bad time to experiment and get them used to a bit of job sharing early in the season, Vanterpool moves to the 1 game IR and has a rest unless Neufeld is still questionable, nothing needs to be set in stone this early on.

If Cooley comes on, it has to be one of Stearns, Vaval, Ayers or Vanderpool...I don't see another option.....but heck I am wrong all the time...just ask my wife....To me the least weakness to the roster would be Stearns...but that leaves a thin receiving core with Cocoran or Cobb starting as R5 and the other the only real back-up.....I mean possibly Peterson or Cooley could sub in at receiver if we ran into injury issues....

Ayers I hate to take off but he wouldn't disrupt the starting rotation and lord knows we have enough back-up LB's

Vaval, I hate to take off, but if we have to, we could maybe still get decent field position with a rostered player handling duties....BC seems to have weak cover teams, but I don't love this option...

Vanderpool, swaps with Wallace, and easy switch, but our line looks really good and chemistry is so important I kind of hate to mess with it...but it is a "easy" swap without potentially a huge drop off...

Left field option....Woods comes out, Lawson and Jake start with Korny/Schmeck backing up in the middle

We thought the initial roster for the BC game was idiotic, then we go out and pound BC with it. I question their roster decision making but sometimes we look like fools when doing so.

please someone scoop him ...please! lol

Maybe Castillo is gonna do both jobs....Bailey on for Punter guy and Cobb on for BO? Swap out Sterns for Cooley?...makes sense to me...

BRB gonna call ted in Hamilton and tell him we will pay airfare.

I don’t ever dare to dream.
