Myron Mitchell looks fine at receiver.  Should never be out there to return.

Think our starting receivers will be D Mitchell, Schoen, White, Demski, Clercius.

M Mitchell, Wheatfall, Sterns battling for a spot maybe...but none of them can return.  Sterns had 13 college returns at 5 yard average.  Might want to brush up on that skill if he wants to make the team.

Wrong decision. Just gave the 1 point there.

It’s possible the coaches told him to run it back to get another look at him. Wouldn’t likely have happened in regular season

Neither M. Mitchell not Stearns impressed today, Wheatfall? Who knows? He showed a few promising catches last year and may win the job by default.

Honestly, we need an airlift of wrs. That’s a pretty easy spot to call too for all the wrong reasons.
So many guys body catching, and just not much with the ball in their hands.
Kr too if Mitchell gets that many snaps. Just awful.

Even if Cooley returns kick offs and vaval returns punts that’d be a whole lot better.

pre-camp I said was not wowed at all about who/what we brought in....definitely need to see something next game from someone...If Dalton is good to go...along with Demski and Clercius we good...after that....nobody stepped up.....only guy who made an impression was Hall....Wheatfall had a couple moments....Elephant in room is D. Mitchell is in for a 63k signing bonus...so good chance he gets the 4th spot by default...and he can return...so....maybe he picks it up...has all the skills....5th spot...throw a dart on the board and wait/hope for Pokey to arrive??....

All the receivers in the 1st Q looked pretty solid.  That includes M Mitchell and Wheatfall.  Think Wheatfall needs to really jump to beat out D Mitchell and M Mitchell is competing in the slot with White, who looked pretty damn good out there.

Soooo nice to be squabbling/talking about the Bombers again. The Grey Cup left a real bad taste in the mouth and I am anxious to see if it's the same old same old or if the issues that cost us the Cup have been addressed.

This. Like **** sakes Mike... Have a drink and have some fun.

Glad to have watched but really, who cares about the stats. We should know by now that’s not what our staff cares about.

I thought that Strev threw pretty well, then I saw Wilson throw great ball after great ball. Some pocket awareness would go a long way towards elevating his game.

Cooley reminded me of Mini Mack Herron... against the Riders 4th team.

Collaros got hit on his first 5 throwing plays. Gotta fix that if we want to win the west.

Nice to see Brady O being Brady.

I didn't see a Bomber returner do much.

No deep balls? In pre-season? Come on!

No TD's? Yuk!

Bomber ball back... Priceless.

I’d be interested to know how many passes went more than 10 yards in the air. I didn’t love the East-West style offense we saw today.

I have no issues with it, I want to see shorter, quicker passes so that Zach doesn’t take a beating, and besides it’s pre season, it’s all about developing timing, and letting your receivers make a play. Regular season I’m sure we’ll see things open up a bit, but I think Zach was at his best last season when he was getting rid of the ball quick, I liked what I saw from the play calling today in terms of play calling and schemes.

Wilson showed Great pocket presence in the Grey Cup.

The one issue I have with Wilson is I think he holds onto the ball a little bit too long. He needs to be quicker with his reads. He’s prone to taking sacks, I thought Artopeous did a great job of getting rid of the ball quickly
